I read a lot of the reviews and took the advice of those who said the shoes ran small. I ordered a half size up and the length was perfect. The problem is the gaps on the sides. I'm not surprised these shoes were tight on a lot of shoppers because most people don't have feet as narrow as I have. The toe was very narrow, which was great for me; but the wide gaps on the sides looked bad. It's poor manufacturing. I hated to return these shoes ... They're absolutely beautiful. Not good for chubby or wide feet. Best for narrow feet. I wear size 9 new balance so I ordered size 9.5 for these shoes. Still very tight on length and width. These are cute but don't know how much use I'll get out of them. They run a little big. If between sizes, I would size down. Not much cushion to the footbed. They are more fashion shoes than functional shoes. I wouldn't want to wear them to walk all day.
