  • So far these are solid and strong batteries!
Wanted to get some new rechargeable batteries, but they seem to still die quicker from all the ones I’ve tried, over the years, (Its 2025, they have the tech for inexpensive solid state rechargeable AA’s, smh but I digress). Design: Comes in a 20 pack, individually wrap in a set of 5, inside a box, which is nice for storing them. They feel very lightweight, coming in at 0.035lbs /16g/0.56oz new, so using them doesn't add much weight, which is a plus in my book. Comes in a nice blue and weight pattern (pictured), they look to be made of good quality. The outer shrink-wrapped plastic looks nice, (I’ve tried some name brand ones that had the bottom wrapping start to rip with normal wear and tear and wasn't even, new). I notices the top also has a plastic wrap around the positive head, I think to help with leaking or corrosion, not sure but looks nice (Pictured). They seem to be very power, compared to other battery types I use, so far it’s been about almost a month or so using them, in various things and they haven’t failed and still going strong. Time will tell of how long, and if they keep that power as they die down and stored. I haven't notice any rusting, discolorations or corrosion, so far. Pros: -Lithium batteries -20 pack -Standard size of AA -Lightweight -Nice looking, the wont be seen for the most part but they look nice -They have a strong power output, when using them -Nothing was rusted -Not rechargeable, but thats a pro and a con Cons: -Expensive -There’s a slight chemical smell, but I think thats box or the plastic wrap, cause up close the batteries and in electronics they have no smell. -Not rechargeable, but that a pro and a con Final Thoughts: Caveat: I will have to do a year update on longevity cause theres no way to test how long they will last in a unused in a freezer, and using, without a time machine. They are expensive but lithium batteries are usually superior compared to alkaline or nickel ones, so its user choice, if they want to pay the price. Seems to be pretty solid batteries, I’d buy them again, when ever these ones die. SB ... show more

  • So far, so good with these Lithium Ion batteries
I find it hard to write reviews for products where the real test of their quality is their longevity and performance over time but I know that if I don't get on here and write a review shortly after receiving a product, I'm prone to forget about it. So, I'll share initial impressions. These batteries have performed precisely as I'd hoped out of the gate. Whenever I buy batteries online - especially from a manufacturer I'm not familiar with or have never purchased from before - I like to run them through a little hand-held battery tester immediately out of the packaging. You never know quite how old the batteries are, what condition they've been stored in, and if they've lost any of their charge before they came to you. I'm pleased to share that every battery I've tested so far, about half the pack at this point, has shown full strength. I'm presently using them in relatively low-demand devices (remote control and video game controller), but I hope to try them in a game/security camera and wireless doorbell camera in the coming weeks, and see how they hold up to powering something that's capturing photos and videos around the clock and in varying weather conditions (presently well below freezing in the winter). (While I think the risk is low, it's probably worth mentioning that you should check product information before swapping LI batteries for alkaline batteries to make sure they manufacturer doesn't discourage it.) As with other LI batteries, these are lightweight (noticeably less than traditional alkaline batteries). While that has little impact on me and my use cases, I suppose if you use/carry a handheld device that requires a lot of AAs, you may appreciate the lighter weight. Also, this is clearly marked in the product description, but these are not rechargeable so keep that in mind. These are also considerably more expensive (about $2/each as of this writing) than alkaline batteries, but if they perform as they're supposed to, they should make up for that with longer lifespan and better performance in wide temperature ranges. Only time will tell if they hold up as desired and perform to my expectations. If they fall short, I'll come back and update my review. But as for now, so far, so good. ... show more

  • Works well so far
It's hard to do reviews of batteries until you've run them through the gambit or waste a couple by just testing them. They claim 3400mAh and so far they do seem to last longer than my 2450 mAh Ladda rechargeable batteries. They are a bit pricey, so unless you are using them on really hard to reach devices, I think rechargeable are still the way to go. ... show more

  • So far, so good.
I haven't used these long enough for a true comparison, but I can say they are doing great so far. They might even be outlasting the last standard batteries I bought. I can't say for sure because I forgot to note when I installed them, but it seems like a while now. In any case, they do what you need batteries to do, so full marks from me. ... show more
