  • Lossigy Customer Service is outstanding, one of the best!!!
I purchased (3) of these Lossigy 12v100ah batteries for my 1990 Ezgo golf cart to replace the (6) old lead acid batteries. Once installed they were awesome!!! These batteries are powerful, delivered consistent voltage for hours between charging, and much lighter. My golf cart had more power and speed than it had in years, maybe ever. After about 3 weeks of great performance the BMS tripped out on one of the batteries while I driving up an inclined road, and my golf cart just died. I emailed Customer Service, I found the email on the warranty and service agreement on the last page of the product manual. A Service Rep (Jenny) responded back very fast within 24 hours. Over the next day or so she helped me trouble shoot the issue. It turned out that these batteries only have a 50A max continuous discharge current output, which I didn’t notice when I purchased them. I have many incline streets in my neighborhood, and when I was going up one of the bigger inclines the golf cart was pulling more than 50A and the battery BMS safety tripped out. Jenny concluded that these batteries were not going to work for my application. To resolve my issue Lossigy offered to take back all (3) batteries and up grade them with (3) 12v 100Ah-Pro, which has a 100A max continuous discharge output, at no cost to me. At the time when my battery died I was concerned I would be without my golf cart for a month or more while resolving my issue and getting a replacement battery, but Lossigy Customer Service had my issue resolved and the new batteries at my front door in less than a week. The new batteries are installed and working great. My golf cart has never ran so fast, even going up the inclines with passengers on board. Therefore, if you are looking for a Lithium battery to replace the lead acid batteries in a golf cart Lossigy is a great choice, but get a battery that has at minimum a 100A max continuous current discharge like the 12v 100Ah-Pro. From my experience Lossigy batteries are a great value, they are light weight, beautifully designed, built very solid, long life expectancy, great price, and Customer Service is out of this world!!! ... show more

  • Terrific Upgrade For RV and Still Ticking After 17 Months of Solid Use in a Range of Climates
Style: 12V200AH
Bought one in April 2022 and here's what I like most about the Lossigy LiFePO4 200ah battery: 1. Increased the electrical storage capacity on our RV by over 400%.* 2. 20% lighter than the 50ah wet cell bank it replaced.** 3. Fit perfectly in the battery box that formerly contained 2ea. 6V wet cells wired in series. 4. No problem with operation in temperatures down to 27F.*** 6. Still reliable and showing no signs of deterioration after 14 months of heavy usage. 7. Prompt and helpful responses from seller whenever I've had a question. NOTES: *The battery continues to put out 12 volts or more, even when remaining capacity falls below 15% (as measured by RV's coulometer). My 50ah wet cell bank, by comparison, would often drop below 12V when remaining capacity hit 30%. Useable capacity was therefore about 35ah whereas usable capacity of the 200ah Lossigy LiFePO4 is 170ah+. **Combined weight of the 50ah lead-acid battery bank that was replaced was over 60 lbs, or about 1.2 lbs per rated amp-hour. The Lossigy LiFePO4 200ah battery, by comparison, weighs in at only 48lbs. This equates to about 0.24 lbs per rated amp-hour - effectively less than 1/5th the weight per ah of the wet cell bank. ***We've camped in winter conditions and watched anxiously as temperatures on the surface of the battery hit 27F (as measured by remote sensor). The Lossigy battery never so much as hiccupped (though I wouldn't want to push it much lower than 27F). NOTE: Worth considering with an RV trailer is the fact that standard tow vehicles rarely come equipped with a tow-battery charging system capable of putting out greater than 8 amps. This means 10 hours of driving might put 80 amp-hours back into your trailer's 200ah battery. The solution is a DC-to-DC charger that can bump the charging current up to 20 amps or more (I installed a model made by Renogy, but there are others). Also, a fairly robust solar charging system (mine is combination of Dokio arrays and MPPT charge controllers rated at 460 watts total) can keep you off the grid almost indefinitely without relying on a noisy generator. UPDATE: Questions show up on Amazon from time to time regarding low temperature protections for LiFePO4 batteries. I think the only way to safely use these batteries when ambient temperatures are substantially below freezing is to provide some source of heat, such as rechargeable heat packs placed around the battery (see Dnaleao hand warmers, for example). Also, insulating the battery box somewhat (I've added foam packing material under and on the sides of my battery) helps. Last year when I submitted this question to Junson Bty (seller of Lossigy LiFePO4 batteries on Amazon), they answered: "When the battery is charged at an air temperature lower than 32 ° F, the lithium ion activity inside the battery decreases, which will lead to the decrease of charging efficiency with the decrease of temperature (this situation is similar to some animals entering hibernation in winter), but this will not cause damage to the battery. It is recommended not to charge at low temperature for a long time." ... show more

  • Works well but BMS shuts down with load
Updated to 5 stars on 8/4/2022 While this battery did not work for my kids 4x4, the amp draw was too much for the 8ah battery vs the SLA 7ah that came with it, the seller contacted me and sent me replacement batteries with a higher amp hour rating that could handle the power draw the 4x4 power wheels takes. I had to custom make a wiring harness since the larger batteries needed to be relocated in a new spot due to their size but now the 4x4 seems to work well. While I was disappointed that the 8ah that were the direct replacement size for the standard SLA battery did not work, I am very happy with the customer service i was given to get the 4x4 running for my kids. I bought this for my kids ride on 4x4 power car. A lot lighter than the SLA batteries and installed perfectly. Battery life seems great with one caveat. If you have any type of load on the batter, say kid driving the ride on car full speed or slightly uphill, the BMS shuts off the battery. To get it back on I have to disconnect the batteries and reconnect them. It’s a pain and annoying to do this so will be moving back to SLA batteries and will find another purpose for these batteries. Was very hopeful these would work for this application but they do not. ... show more
