Fifth hammock i ve owned. description: quilted fabric , it is not a quilted hammock, not huge it s a ok/decent fabric. No tag to describe actual material Comes with a pillow that buttons (4) down to hammock, kinda cool but is in need of a lot more filler-looks washable. Rope and wooden bar: Rope is sturdy but the thinnest i ve ever had - wooden bar seems okay. Made in South America i believe, like most everything, not made like they used to be. My hammocks are out in the backyard taking the elements for 4 months of warmer weather and usually last us 5 -6 yrs., not feeling it on this one. Was Lower priced of "quilted hammocks" I entered in search. Will reevaluate in four months ... show more

I've only had rope hammocks prior to this one, and loved them. This is definitely more comfortable on the elbows when I'm lying in it. It's roomy and has a pillow. Once I'm in it, it's just perfect. Unfortunately, getting in is not so easy. There are no holes to hold onto, which I used when getting into my old hammocks. If I try to sit on the edge sideways with the idea of then swinging my legs up, I slide right off. I can manage to get in anyway, but it would be impossible for my son, who has Angelman Syndrome, to do so. Likewise, an elderly person wouldn't be able to get into this hammock on their own. ... show more

This is the perfect 2 person hammock! It looks bright and vivid, super sturdy, and at 180lbs each, my husband and I feel completely comfortable getting on it together. It has been a beautiful addition to our yard. Our only complaint is that it came with a few dark stains already on it and a worn place on the wood. We DID NOT contact the seller because my husband didn’t want to wait to install it and start using it...so they may have replaced it for free. The material started to tear after less than 9 months, and it is mostly used sporadically by small female - according to description it holds 450lbs. During lockdown it is quickly disintegrating with more use, but still even with two family members on, weight has never reached 350lbs. I couldn't be happier with this hammock. I choose the red/tan color option. I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness of the material. i figured it was just going to be a single layer of fabric but its actually a quilted style. Its so comfy! I would definitely recommend this product.

Great hammock. It's slippery at first but I washed it with a scrub brush and my garden hose and it's a little bit better. We don't slide off it anymore. Very beautiful hammock. Very sturdy and durable. But my kids and I can not comfortably lay in it. Unless you lay in the middle and don't move much, you feel like your going to fall out. Never had problems with other hammocks but this was my first one that has the rod on each end. It doesn't allow the sides to have slack so they stay straight. My daughter slid off a couple of times because of the clothes she was wearing wouldn't grip on to her to keep her on the hammock.
