We ordered 2 twin mattress, 8 inch; opened and set for 3 days. They expanded little more then 6.5” (7 on the end) Contacted seller to ask if we had been sent the wrong size (6”); nope just had bad recovery. Seller said offered to replace them for free; we declined as that is far to wasteful in our opinion. We asked to just be refunded the difference in price from the 8” to the 6”. In recent years we’ve purchased many mattresses, all of them memory foam but all of them were too firm for the both of us. We have recently purchased a new RV and the mattress again was too firm. When retracting the wardrobe slide out it limits the thickness of the mattress to less than 6-1/2” max. We aren’t large people, with me being the heaviest at 180 lbs but I was still concerned about this mattress being too soft for only 5” thick. My wife is a side sleeper (concerned her hips might bottom out), while I’m a back sleeper. I did purchase a 1-1/2” topper just because of that concern. We’ve slept on it now for a week and are extremely happy with the comfort of this mattress. This mattress is ideal for us. If you are looking for softer mattress yet gives you adequate support, consider this one. Especially if you have a limited thickness such as a camper. ... show more
