This pencil works well with both 1st and 2nd gen Pencil-compatible iPads, and will even attach magnetically to 2nd-gen units. It charges via USB C, which is convenient (unless you have an older Lightning iPad). It doesn't even require pairing, which makes it easy to share across devices. It's much lighter than the official Pencil, which is nice. As with all third-party Pencils, this stylus isn't pressure sensitive. However, it's angle/tilt sensitive; you can see this working in apps like Procreate with tools like the ink pens that support it if you tilt the Pencil. It takes a pretty extreme angle to kick in, so I would have appreciated a slightly mellower curve to the tilt sensitivity, but that's more of a nit than anything. It also has a capacitive mesh on the rear, which lets you use it on apps or devices that don't support Pencil input; that's a nice touch. They included several extra tips in the box, too - kudos. This is hard to go wrong with unless you really need the OEM Pencil's pressure sensitivity. If you're a professional fulltime artist, that's probably worth shelling out an extra $100 for; for the rest of us, this is quite nice.

This is a great cost cutting alternative to the Apple Pen. It is nicely packaged and is easy to figure out how to use it. The fact that it is set up in such a way that resting your hand on the iPad. There is zero interference when using the pen and you inadvertently rest your palm on the iPad. The Pen has a hard tip for those writing challenges using the pen. The soft tip is very nice to allow you to switch from Pen tip and fiber tip. The learning curve for the pen is easy and it won't take long to wonder why you didn't purchase a pen/stylus.

Very responsive and I like it better than the official Apple Pencil. No pairing, just charge with the included USBC cable and green light means full charge. Blue light means almost time to plug in again and red light means time to charge. It holds a charge for a very long time so you won’t have to plug in often. I honestly use the fiber tip “eraser” end all the time and love it. The stylus feels good in the hand and looks great too. Five spare tips are include and for the value, utility and battery life this stylus earns an enthusiastic two thumbs up. 👍🏼👍🏼 I hope this review was helpful! 😋

This two-sided stylus works very well for both precise writing or drawing on my iPad. I was surprised that it worked immediately in Procreate (an art app) and I didn't have to pair it to have it work. I don't see any lag, which is pretty amazing for an inexpensive stylus. It works as well as the Apple Pencil that I bought when I first got the iPad. The button to turn it on is small, but easy to depress. Before I read the directions, it took me a little while to find the charging port, but was easy enough to use one I figured out where it was. (Wait, YOU read the directions first?!) The rubber piece that covers the charging port needs to be gently pried out, so fingernails are helpful. The charging cover is quite small, and not attached to the body of the stylus, so I imagine it might be easy to misplace or drop and lose. The mechanism is recessed, so even without the cover to protect it, charging will likely still be possible. The stylus also has a soft, capacitive fabric end which is so helpful when I want quiet. When I'm playing word games with my daughter, the constant tapping of a hard stylus is distracting and irritating. The soft side also doesn't need to have the stylus turned on be used. It works to draw in some apps, like Adobe Fresco, but not in Procreate (which could be my setting). I'll have to explore that. The directions are tiny so I did my usual work-around: take a photo on my phone and enlarge it so I could read it. My only change would be to have the fiber end be replaceable. Once that wears out though, I'll still have the active end to use, so not a total loss. At this price point that's a small concession. It's an amazingly functional stylus for a small cost. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to get it but I found it odd that it wouldn’t work on my iPad so I tried my moms as well as both of our phones and it still didn’t work, it’s on and charged and I even tried changing out the tip but nothing, the opposite mesh side however works amazing then again for what I paid for this I could’ve gotten multiple non electric ones that works all the same

I had an old one of these that I lost the cord to. I decided to order this one, so I could use it again. This is perfect, lightweight, has several extra tips, and the back works on my iPhone. Definitely worth it for me!
