Like other reviewers, I found these difficult to install, but they work fine. They are a bit large, so they are difficult to fit onto standard garden hose. And the clamp nuts are a weird size. But they are strong and they work. I could not figure out why they come with 2 different shape washers, and there was nothing to explain it.

Size: For 3/4" and 5/8" Rubber Garden Hose
I had bought a new hose and nozzle but didn't realize that if you leave the nozzle on the hose it can fuse together. Well after 2 years I really needed to take the nozzle off as I had to have a hose to connect to other things from time to time. I wanted a brass fitting to go along with my brass nozzles I like to use. So i bought this kit, cut the end of the hose and fused nozzle off. Then proceeded to put this new one on and clamp it. Been using it all summer with zero issues or leaks. Saved a ton of money and waste by using this vs having to get a new hose. If you have a fused nozzle issue, or bent/crushed end I would recommend this easy fix.

Size: For 3/4" and 5/8" Rubber Garden Hose
My 5/8" garden hose has no stretch to it, even out in the hot sun, so this fitting doesn't fit the 5/8" hose. Just get a brand of brass hose repair fitting that is specifically for only a 5/8" hose. Whether this product fits a 3/4" hose without leaking, I don't know because I tried it only on a 5/8" garden hose. The brand I got specifically for a 5/8" garden hose works great. And if you want a fitting that works smoothly, get brass, not whatever the silver-colored ones are (some say zinc, others say aluminum).
