Our canopy in our gazebo ripped to shreds earlier this summer after only using it last year and taking it down through late fall and all of winter and early spring. We loved having the shade out back over our table so I immediately started looking for replacements and became very frustrated. There are so many options and sizes and no guarantees. I found this one and liked that I could get it in a gray, which matches our things much better than other colors. I also liked the price! It took a bit for the canopy to arrive and then we had to wait a few days for time to put it up. We did have some issues, which is why I only gave it 4 stars, but it’s mostly probably due to the design of our Mainstays gazebo. The top was way too floppy and would not fit so we ended up using pieces of dowel rods zip stripped to the original pieces to extend the arms and hold the top in place. It’s still a little floppy but I’m thinking that’s the angle of the top piece. Our gazebo also has rods that stick up in each corner and the very top to help hold the canopy in place. We have grommets and a grommet tool so after some marking and then taking the canopy back down to add the grommets, the canopy fit on just fine. In fact it may not flap in the wind as much as the original did because I think the bottom fits nicer. We are so far impressed with the new canopy and sure hope it outlasts the old one! Edited to add: I originally gave 3 stars to remain neutral on the water resistance because I didn’t now since we’ve been in somewhat of a drought this summer. Today it rained quite a bit during an afternoon storm and the rain beaded up at first and then rolled right off. I wasn’t outside as it was blowing pretty good but it really seemed to do it’s job! My bf said he didn’t think our old original one was as good as the new one! ... show more

I like the color, but I feel the canopy is a little thin. I’m very hot sunny days I feel the sun coming through a bit. Making it not feel as cool as my old canopy. Also are used to be able to enjoy rainy days under the canopy without getting wet. This canopy the rain goes right through. Our cushions get soaked as well as our table. So if you’re looking for some thing a little more sun and rain resistant this is not the canopy for you. ... show more

Update May 30 2020. one year later. Still up. Still like nee. We never took it down! It's been up for one full year and looks as great as the day we got it. I posted a picture just now, taken today wonderful, durable product. Wish I knew about this 20 years ago! ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** I specifically waited to write this review. We received this in May 2019 and put it up right away. We were impressed by the material, very durable. We were also impressed that the topper was connected (with netting) as the brand we have previously used changed their topper to not attached. We chose the blue color & absolutely loved it. As stated we put it up in May. It is now mid October (2019) This canopy has not budged, nor puddled. We had a lot of rainy & windy weather the past few months including a nor'easter this week. It does not leak if you are under it when it's raining (although we didnt test it during the nor'easter :) ). We are so impressed with this canopy & highly recommend it. If we ever need another, this is the brand we will stick with. ... show more

This replacement cover was not too expensive and it fits the unit however there is a huge difference between this and the original. The original cover was much thicker so blocked out the sun better. Under this replacement one we can still feel the heat come through on very hot days. The original was also perfectly fitted so rain water would not get trapped and sit in puddles on top of the fabric. This replacement cover is a bit loose and even though it is secure as to not blow off, rain water sits in puddles and there are not enough drain holes for the water to fall off. We have to use a broom stick to push the puddles off. Overall it is an adequate replacement and cheaper than buying a whole new unit but it is not as good. Perhaps a thicker replacement can be made with more drain holes. ... show more

I purchased the dark green canopy as a replacement for my faded torn Walmart canopy. This did fit a little different but I made it work. Like many have said it does protect you from a down pour but some very small water droplets get through. The color has faded pretty substantially but it still works and when I contacted the seller they made it right. ... show more

It fits!!!! This fitted my 10 x 10 gazebo frame!!!! That fabric is sturdy and everything. Now I know where to get my replacements. Also, it arrived more than 5 days earlier than I was told so I am one happy camper ❤️♥️
