This little mat is ingenious. I started my own eBay business and sell a lot of old video games and electronics. Since I buy a lot of them dirt cheap and they have to be cleaned or even fixed. This mat has been a very smart buy for me. Not only does it keep my workstation safe from loose solder or other chemicals, but it is also a great place to keep all the clutter so it doesn't fall into the floor or anything. Sometimes. I wish I would have gotten the even bigger one. But fair warning. It does get dirty quick. Even though it is very easy to clean. You will have to clean it more often than I thought because since everything stays on the mat and does not get on your floor or on the other parts of your workstation, it gathers on the mat pretty quickly. But it's still a great little tool that I have in my electronics arsenal.

The slightly smaller size is ideal for my smaller desk, the parts holders/divider bins are nice and deep, and the magnetic ones are *very* handy. No issues with my soldering temps of 720-820. Thick and feels durable & well-made... and it's cheap! (I actually prefer this mat over far more expensive name brand RC mats I own.) Two thumbs up!

I should have gotten one of these ages ago. I bought it because I was going to be working on some video game consoles, and this electronics mat keeps everything organized and handy. It's got the three magnetized areas so you won't lose any small screws, and you can keep them separated so they don't get mixed. Also protects the tabletop if you happen to be using an indoor table. I got the middle size, which worked out perfect for me. A really nice, quality product.

It gets the job done. I wanted a 5 star product, got something close to it that just works. This is a typical Silicone mat with some magnets on certain areas that just works and gets the job done good enough, or at least for what I needed. It has enough slots to hold small pieces and screws, as well as a decent workable station for the main components. The heat resistance and the lack of conductivity is just a small plus to all of this. I just wish it was a better base material and maybe have better/more workable magnets

I’ve been looking for a large soldering & repair mat with built‑in storage compartments—especially magnetic ones for springs and tiny screws—since I regularly work on electronics, toys, laptops, and tools. It also needed to be easy to clean, heat‑resistant, lubricant‑resistant, and soft enough to protect delicate surfaces. This mat checks every box. I bought the largest size, just under 22" × 16", and it gives me plenty of room to spread out and focus on my work. There are multiple parts trays, numbered screw compartments, and several magnetic sections along the top and right side. The raised outer edge keeps small parts from rolling away, which is a lifesaver during detailed repairs. The mat arrived rolled up, and I placed a couple of heavy objects on the corners to help it flatten. The instructions say it will settle on its own after a few hours, and that was true for mine. There was a slight silicone smell at first, but it dissipated quickly once out of the bag. Heat resistance is excellent—I can flick solder onto it without worrying about damage. The surface is also resistant to dirt and corrosion, and it wipes clean easily with water or alcohol. The included magnets aren’t extremely strong, but they’re good enough to hold a 2‑inch steel bit upright, which is all I really need. Pros High heat resistance up to 932°F (500°C) Multiple magnetic areas, screw trays, and tool slots for excellent organization Non‑slip texture on both sides keeps the mat firmly in place Easy to clean and resistant to dirt, oils, and corrosion Large working area with raised edges to prevent parts from rolling away Cons A bit pricey compared to smaller or thinner mats Silicone can swell with certain petroleum oils—long‑term resistance may vary depending on lubricants used Overall, I’m very pleased with this purchase. It’s durable, spacious, heat‑safe, and extremely practical for electronics repair. If you need a soft, protective, heat‑resistant work surface, this is absolutely worth buying. Highly recommended.

This is one is great quality. Has the little bins for screws and magnets to keep them from jumping off the table. I bought a few different sizes and configurations and this size is just right for quick repairs without having to bring out the big mat.
