YES it is worth it. The fluid is sooooo lubricated that a tiny little drop can be spread far & wide. So one little drop will cover an area the size of a maybe two thumbprints. I point this out because the price makes it seem ridiculous compared to the larger little tubes of other brands of scar cream/silicone. And I suppose most scar creams all work about the same, if you use them without fail like it says to. But I got FOUR different brands actually, as I couldn't tell from all the reviews which would be the very best. This Strataderm seems to be more of a protective seal and stays just slightly moist after putting it on, so it does NOT dry up and flake off and look like a dead squid stuck onto your skin like another highly recommended "fast drying" brand does---talkin' about you, Mederma---nor does this feel tight and clingy like a dried piece of plastic. This Strataderm silicon stays moist and never becomes dry-hard-crusty. And like I said a little goes a long way. So maybe it is worth that price, I think it is and so far am seeing good results after two months but I again point out I am using four different scar creams. Just know it will be a really small tube and that is kind of deceiving since a tiny little mini-drop goes a long way. So comparing it other brands which might take a half-pea sized drop, this one's 1/8 pea droplet gets the same coverage so the cost is probably close for the coverage area. If that makes sense.

Feels thinner than the one I get from the dermatologist but it does the same thing. I’ll keep using it on my scar on my collarbone It seems to heal scars much faster and smooths them out.

I had skin cancer on my nose, and my surgeon recommended Strataderm to help with scarring. This gel has worked wonders. I never thought I’d want to go out in public again with a big scar on my nose and cheek, but if you use this gel consistently, you’ll be amazed at how much better scars can get. It only takes a tiny amount, so the tube will last a while. This is most definitely worth the money. Just don’t forget to use it as indicated.

It really does work! I had a major surgery that resulted in a huge deep scar. The most important thing is consistency, if you use it EVERYDAY, TWICE A DAY! You will see the results... and I DONT mean see results in a long time, I mean like 2 weeks. It appears to match the correct pigmentation, and ultimately erase the scar. So love this stuff!
