Item came on time and was VERY easy to put together. I'm one week away from my scheduled c-section and I easily put it together in less than 30 minutes. I had the same glider with my first daughter in 2010 and loved it. It was simple, but did the job and my first daughter was rocked in it until she was around 18 months old. The material on this glider is microfiber and a very nice improvement compared to the first one I had which was fabric and was easily stained. I still put some blankets on it as I know how easily gliders can get dirty with babies (spit up, sticky fingers, etc.). My only complaint with this particular glider is that the arm covers don't snap on all the way. The snap holders on mine that are screwed into the chair seemed a little bit bent. I was able to push them out enough for the cover to stay, but it doesn't seem THAT secure. If anything, the glider came with instructions that Storkcraft would send replacement parts free of charge and they clearly state to NOT send back the entire glider. So if it becomes an issue I will contact them and request replacement snaps. It's a simple Phillips head screw holding the snap holder into place into the chair. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier with this glider. It was just as easy to put together as I remember doing so 7 years ago. I'm also 5'2" and can easily rest my head on the back (not too tall and not too short). My husband is 5'10" and is a little tall for the back, but if he scootches down and uses the ottoman, he's comfortable. :) For the price, you cannot beat this glider!!! ... show more

I’m currently pregnant & downstairs so I’m not uploading a photo unless it can be done later but I love this chair. It’s super comfortable & soft. I haven’t used it yet. I am due in the summer with our second child and have been using a second hand glider for almost three years. I read all the reviews for this product and decided that if I am going to spend as many long sleepless nights in this chair as I have the other, I am finally going to take the plunge and spend the $160+. I am SO glad that I did too. I live overseas and received this product in five days (that's a new record!). It was easy to put together and took me less than 30 minutes to do with the "help" of my two and a half year old. The wood of the glider seems to be very sturdy, the cushions are well made and very comfortable. The arm rest padding snaps on and off making keeping them clean very easy. The pockets on the side of the arms are the perfect size to keep books, binkies, extra burp cloths or whatever else you may want handy during those late night feedings. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a glider/ottoman set. I can confidently say that I am in LOVE with mine. ... show more

Overall I feel like this rocking chair will be pretty sturdy. (I’ll make sure to update if that changes when baby comes) However, during assembly the screws that hold on the button snaps for the arm rests kept breaking. Either the head of the screw would snap off or the button snap itself would straighten out under the pressure of holding the arm rests on. Will probably end up ordering other cushions at least for the arm rests. ... show more

I bought this chair mainly for the price. I was expecting the cushions to be thin. To my surprise the back cushion was very full. The bottom cushion was thin, but dense. The armrest cushions were also thicker than expected. The armrest cushions just snap on. I like the fact that it has pockets on the sides too. The chair comes with little assembly required. The ottoman is ready to go. The chair itself only needed to have the back screwed on (2 screws) and the arms (3 screws each). The directions had special screws for the back, which we used to screw the arms to the back, dispite what the instructions said. It is a good chair. The cushions are more a cream color. The website shows the cushions to be a little darker, but I like them lighter anyway. I tried it out on my 4 year old. We rocked for about 15 minutes and he was out cold. I have no regrets with this purchase. ... show more
