I will never buy a particle board bookcase after this An all METAL bookcase is the best option for holding lots of books and NO SAGGING shelves!!!!!!!!!!!!! The metal construction is thinner than particle board/MDF, but each shelf can hold so much weight and not sag, bend or warp. You can have slightly smaller dimensions cabinet but hold MORE contents for a similar size MDF cabinet And it looks like it's made from wood Fortunately, it arrived intact, well protected with foam. No cracked glass I did not assemble, so cannot comment on instruction quality, but if you can put it together, you will be pleased with the end result CONS: 1- metal can DENT, so be careful not to knock against it with anything sharp or heavy 2- it's LOUD when opening and closing the doors 3- the paint surface can be scratched and chipped 4- shelf height can be adjusted by 1 inch increments, but you have to remove all contents on BOTH shelves in order to move the shelf (tight space) Additional PROS: 1- magnetic surfaces allow you to add accessories to cabinet without resorting to adhesives, even comes with 4 magnet buttons 2- comes with key to lock cabinet contents 3- comes with 2 spare shelf peg inserts. The inserts for the shelves are easy to put in and hold the shelf in place securely I would still recommend attaching the top of cabinet to the wall to avoid the cabinet from toppling over you by accident. You could get seriously hurt if that happened.

I bought and assembled four of these cabinets, one at a time. The cabinet is very well built and it's relatively easy to assemble (the first one took two hours; the fourth one took an hour and 15 minutes). I was able to assemble and mount the cabinets by myself, but it would be handy to have a second person around for certain assembly steps and the move the finished cabinet around. The instructions are very clear, and manufacturing tolerances are fairly tight, so the various parts mate easily (the only exceptions are the foot and headboard pieces which require a bit of maneuvering to get the screw holes to line up). The company is very responsive, and they provide clear guidance in case you need additional help. I have three tips for future buyers: 1) I found it is easier to use a handheld screwdriver since you get a better feel for where the screw holes are. It's not a big deal since there are only about 30-40 screws to tighten. The only exception is the brackets for the adjustable feet; go ahead and use a cordless screwdriver for those. 2) the spring-loaded pins for the doors may or may not come properly installed. On average, only about half of them were correctly installed on the eight doors I had to deal with. Installing these pins could be a bit of a challenge - needle-nosed pliers and a flat-head screwdriver helps. In order to seat the pin, you may need to bend the tab shown in the picture all the way in with a screwdriver. And then you'll have to insert the pin through the rectangular opening and seat it in the hole in the tab. Easier said than done, but it always works out in the end! 3) Buy inexpensive magnetic-backed motion-detecting LED light strips and attach them underneath the shelves. That way, the (nearly invisible) lights come on automatically when you open the cabinet doors.

Ordered tall white metal glass front cabinet for our hot garage to store extra china and christmas dishes. It took almost two hours to assemble by one professional. Our handyman said it is of good quality in material and construction. Although it stands securely on thin carpet, our handyman anchored it to the cement wall to prevent any tipping over by unfoteseeable vibration. The four metal shelves are easy to install. They rest upon metal tabs whose edges prevent shelves from moving about. This handsome metal cabinet looks like wood. We appreciate all of its features, but wished that it had feet instead of resting flat upon the floor. Only because if the area ever became wet, there will be a lack of ventilation for drying out. Even so, we shall purchase another because of its many positive features including a key that secures all contents. Hope this review is helpful.

I bought this to add a little style and storage to our home—somewhere to display a few family keepsakes while hiding away kid clutter. Overall, I love the clean look and the glass doors make it feel a bit elevated without being too fancy for everyday use. The cabinet holds more than I expected and fits perfectly in our hallway nook. It’s been a great mix of display and hidden storage—mom win! The only downside was the assembly—it wasn’t terrible, but definitely took a bit of time and patience. Some of the pieces didn’t line up perfectly, but once it was together, it looked great and feels sturdy. If you're comfortable with DIY furniture assembly and want something affordable and attractive, this is a great option!

This is THIN FILE CABINET material that cannot stand upright without being anchored to the wall. Very low quality. This came in damaged with dents and screws missing on the glass doors that are pre assembled. Contacted the company as you have to go through them and customer service was a joke. We had a lot of back and forth including images and they offered me $10 off, then $20 claiming they are a small business. They then offered to overnight the screws for the panels. I pointed out that if they could not send a refund over $20 being a "small business" that would make no profit, why are they wasting money overnighting me screws. They offered me $30 and I just took it because I was sick of dealing with them and their horrible customer service. DO NOT RECCOMEND UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING TIME AND MONEY. I would give 0 stars if I could. $50 cabinet at most.
