I’ve been using this set daily for dinners and quick lunches, and it strikes a good balance between looking nice and being practical. The stoneware has a pleasing weight, and the glaze on my set has been smooth and consistent, with no rough spots that catch food. Plates feel sturdy, bowls are a good size for pasta or grain bowls, and everything stacks neatly in the cabinet. In the microwave, it heats evenly enough for leftovers without getting scorching hot immediately, and it’s handled the dishwasher well so far with no visible crazing. The main drawback is that stoneware can chip if you’re careless with stacking or if it knocks against a metal sink, so I’m a little more mindful than with cheap ceramic. Design-wise, it’s attractive but not overly ornate, which helps it fit different kitchens. I love these plates. I like the thickness, weight, and look (speckled is great). They fit nicely in the cupboards and stack well for storage space. I have had an issue with them breaking just by touching them a little too hard against the granite countertops though. Not sure if my impossible strength or a quality issue.
