This knife set is mid quality, not your cheapest set, but nothing fancy either. The blades are nice and sharp, the handles are a cheaper plastic with some imperfections and do not all sit flush or uniform in the block. The block itself scratches easily and I wish the logo was something less obvious as it's not particularly pretty. One confusing aspect about this set is that the description online says it is dishwasher safe, but the box containing the steak knives suggested otherwise. One of the appeals to getting this knife set is the ability to stick them in the dishwasher when I don't have time to hand wash. Sometimes life is just too busy. So, hopefully they hold up! Time will tell if they are or are not dishwasher safe but for now it remains a mystery.

Decent knife set set for every day use. The knife block has rubber feet on it to avoid it slipping around. It is not the highest quality but it includes everything you need. Knives are sharp and cut well.

I am thoroughly enjoying this knife set however it claim to be dishwasher safe and then as soon as you open the box there is a giant bright sticker that says "please do not use an a dishwasher"... Even says on the front of the box that it's dishwasher safe so I don't know what the deal is there but is not insiding confidence in the knife set. Couple of the knives came with some pretty deep scratches in them but it did not get past the black finish thankfully. The corner of the wooden box seems to have taken a nice ding to it but again did not mess up the paint. The block has nice rubber feet on it and has holes in the bottom so you won't be rusting your knives out because it gives a place for the moisture to seep out if ever any. Not the best knife set I own but it's definitely nice. Comes with a nice and thin cutting board that isn't too big or too small. The knives came pretty sharp and with tip protectors for transport. The block also has some nice weight to it so it stays in place and the product looks very nice just like the pictures without any special efforts to align anything everything aligns automatically when you put them in the block! The scissors are a very nice addition but they do have a slightly loose fitting in the block. Give this product 3.5 stars. Mainly for the scratches and the contradicting dishwasher information.

This is a very affordable, entry level knife/block set. Clearly, from the price, it should be apparent that you're not going to get the highest quality steel blades or premium materials. The handles seem to be made of very lightweight plastic. However, as a budget set it offers a lot of value. It includes a very solid knife block with slots sized for each of the included knives. It has a built-in sharpener which many higher priced units don't offer. It comes with the same number and style of knives as most higher end sets including an 8" Chef Knife, 8" Bread Knife, 7" Santoku Knife, 5" Boning Knife, 5" Utility Knife, 3.5" Paring Knife, 6X Steak Knives, and a pair of Kitchen Shears. It also comes with a decent cutting board. Unlike many of the more expensive sets, this set indicates that the knives are dishwasher safe. As the set is all black, it should fit in aesthetically with most kitchens. I would recommend this set for anyone wanting a complete knife set with acceptable value at a very affordable price. Just don't expect to get the quality comparable to premium brands.

This is not a “Chef’s Choice” knife set, but it is completely suitable for the budget kitchen and will stand up to daily use. It is an ideal knife set for equipping a rental house or condo, being of reasonable quality for a good price. The built-in knife sharpener is a real plus mostly because it is held firmly in the knife storage block when being used. Funny that one of the pictures with the description shows all the knives loaded in a dishwasher because they come in a separate box labeled “Please hand clean and do not put in the dishwasher”. The outer box states the contents are “dishwasher safe” as does the description. Turns out even dishwasher manufacturers recommend not cleaning sharp knives in their dishwashers because that will dull the blades. So, with this set it is best to hand clean the knives. This knife set is reasonably good quality that will last, at a good value price. It certainly has a place in some kitchens.

Sitting on the counter this set looks great but they definitely not professional grade. I feel as if the price point is a little high but for general use they compare favorably to other similar sets in the same price range. We are using this set to decorate a house we are in the process of flipping. The color and style look great without breaking the budget. Slightly pleased.
