    • Freeman PFS9 = A Workhorse Stapler
Style: Stapler
I use this Freeman PFS9 stapler on my farm, and it has quickly become one of my favorite tools. I put up a lot of field fencing, hog wire, and chicken runs, and this stapler has handled everything without slowing down. It drives 9 gauge staples deep into posts with no issues, even when the wood is tough or weathered. The tool feels solid but not overly heavy, which matters when you are out on the farm working in the heat. The depth adjustment works well and the quick jam release has already saved me a few headaches. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need a compressor with you. I use a portable unit and it works fine, but anyone working far out on a property should plan for that. Overall, this stapler has made fencing on my farm faster, cleaner, and much less frustrating. If you do any kind of livestock fencing or property line work, this tool is absolutely worth it. I would buy it again. ... show more

I love it. This works so well. I shot over half a box of staples with no jams. It does require a lot of air. My pancake compressor needed to catch up often.

    • Great stapler for fencing jobs
Style: Stapler
Great fence stapler. Works just as expected. I have only used it once so far, but took me less than an hour to put in several hundred Staples. With a hammer, I would have been there for several hours and would have likely hit my fingers over a dozen times... Lol... I was most worried about the air requirement, but fortunately it doesn't need much more air than an air nailer. I bought a DeWalt 60v battery powered air compressor to use with this and the combination is great. With the battery powered compressor I don't have to worry about have power in remote areas that I am fencing. Battery seems to last plenty of time on a charge to drive several hundred Staples. This item is expensive and the Staples are expensive, but iny option it is worth the cost. The time saved I believe will pay for itself with my first fence project, which I am getting close to finishing up. ... show more

    • So far so good
Style: Stapler
I have been using this to attach 2"x4"x14GA welded wire fence to primarily OAK posts. Done about 100 posts so far so not a tone of long term use to report. It drives the staples in all the way turned up to 140 PSI. Any less than that you will occasionally not get the staple all the way in. Speeds the job up tremendously. Not an issue smashing your thumb. Hammering in multiple staples per post tends to loosen up the post in the ground. This alleviates that issue. Well worth the money. Seems to be built sturdy. I am using the glue collated staples Freeman Brand. ... show more

We have fenced in ten acres of property for cows. This stapler is amazing. So far it has only jammed one time. Super easy to set the depth on the staples. The best $246 I have spent. Beats the hell out of trying to hammer in two inch staples!!!
