Description
The STKR Garage Side Parking Sensor is easy to install and has an adjustable distance motion sensor. Simple mount the Side Parking Sensor to the garage door track using the supplied universal mount. Safely position your vehicle with the side view mirror as close to the sensor as possible. When your vehicle is in position, press the set button. This is now the warning zone. The sensor will now alert you if you drive your vehicle any closer to the edge of the garage door opening. An easy to follow green, yellow, red color sequence lets you know if you are safe to proceed, in the warning zone, or if you need to reposition your entry or exit to avoid contact. The red signal light is accompanied by a warning siren to adequately alert the driver to realign their path. Lasted about a month
When it worked after the initial setup, I was happy with how it performed. But once the first set of batteries died and a new set of batteries were installed it stopped working. All one gets now is a rapidly flashing dim blue light. It doesn’t work with a USBC charger connected either. I recommend looking for a different option.

Does not fit my garage door rails
So far one star. The clips seemed far too small to fit on my garage door tracks. The company should specify the size of the track this product fits in the description instead of assuming all tracks are the same size. After contacting the company, I came to realize that the clips would fit if I pushed very hard. The description should include the dimensions of the track this product is designed to fit, and a diagram or drawing of how to install the clips. Once I installed the clips, I discovered another, fatal, problem. On my garage door the fitting that attaches to the wire from the counterbalance spring wraps around the track and hits the clip for the side sensor as the door comes down. This product will not work with my garage door unless I find a way to mount the sensor to the wall of the garage instead of to the track. It would have saved me a lot of time, and Amazon and STKR a lot of money, if I had been told about this incompatibility before I purchased the sensors. As it is, the two sensors I purchased will probably have to be returned. I'm raising my rating from one start to three, because the sensors do work. But three stars instead of five due to the problems with the track discussed above, plus two additional issues. I managed to mount the clip that holds the sensor on a wood block using two #6 screws, and then I mounted that wood block on a stud next to the garage door. I am not using the door tracks at all. So, now on to the issues. The USB power cord provided with the sensor is 1 FOOT LONG! That is a joke. Even people who may have power outlets in their garages would not likely have one within one foot of the sensor. Why supply a UBS power cord at all if it is going to be ONE FOOT long? I have an outlet near the sensor, but I needed a 6-foot USB cord to connect from the adapter in the outlet to the sensor. The second additional issue is that the USB C power jack on the sensor is at the bottom of the ultrasonic sensor itself, not on the body of the device. The sensor is attached to the body with a rather fragile plastic arm. If the power cord is somehow snagged or pulled that could cause the arm with the sensor to break off of the main body. I can't figure out why any engineer would put a power socket on fragile arm instead of on the far more robust body of a device.

Great aide to avoid mirror removal
Easy install, battery powered or if you want it can be USB powered with little effort. This sensor once installed and calibrated to your car works wonders. Gives confidence that you are not too close to the door frame it also gives an indication that you have pulled into the garage far enough to close the door. A feature I find wonderful it allows plenty of room to walk in front of the car into the house. Great little gadget!

Works as advertised!
This lighted sensor works great. My new car only has about 6" clearance on either side of my older garage door. The first one worked so well I bought another. Now with 2 sensors blinking green, yellow, or red on both sides, it makes entry and exit so much easier. Into week three of daily use with no problems.

Worked well then died quickly
(Review is for the side sensor) UPDATE Dropping from 4 to 2 stars This thing used to work well then just decided one day that it would just lock into always alerting on red no matter how close or far anything was from it. I tried resetting it, changing out batteries, everything. It's just done. It's not gotten wet. It's not been hit or fallen. It just failed in less than a year. The rear sensor is still going strong though. (end update. Original review below) -1 star for it not fitting on my garage door rails. I have a Wayne Dalton style garage door. Nothing crazy, but the clip was simply way too small to fit onto the rails. Not a dealbreaker, as I have some metal shelving near the end of the garage and was able to just macguyver the sensor onto that. Works fine now. My goal was a bit of the opposite of what the colors seem designed for - I want to be as close as possible to hitting the mirror on the wall but without hitting it. So I want flashing yellow, not green or red. Once you figure out the color for your use case, it's easy and works consistently. This seems to be the one wall in my whole house without a plug though, so I'm stuck using batteries. No idea how long they'll last, but I used some rechargeable batteries.

It Works Well and is Easy to Install
It works as described. Installation was easy, the instructions could be a bit clearer, but it was very manageable. The first one I installed took me about 5 minutes; the second one took about 2 minutes.
