It is just the right size for my daughter to use and get accustomed to sewing. This sewing machine does a good job of connecting and fastening material together. It can be set up for a variety of stitches that are easy to sew and hold material together well. The sewing machine also does a good job of handling a number of layers. I ordered this sewing machine from Amazon Vine, and I like that it is a sewing machine for beginners like me, and it can do double needle and double threads, which is something that my former sewing machine couldn’t do, and right out of the box it let me try out sixteen different types of stitches. Even though I got this machine mainly to be doing some basic repairs on my clothes, I appreciate the fact that it gives me options to do different sewing effects and styles, because for me it ended up covering all the bases. Since I have been using this sewing machine to adjust most of my clothes, and make sure they fit snugly on me and follow the contour on my body. When I first tried it out, I was really interested in the double needle setup because my other sewing machines only uses one needle, and it was cool to see how the parallel stitches added extra strength to the seams, which I noticed especially when I used it to make my jeans and some other pants much smaller on the waist area, because the pants that fit my waist never even pass through my hips and the ones who passed end up being super lose on my waist. I tried a bunch of stitch types, from zigzags to decorative patterns, which made it easy for me to get the look that I wanted for my clothes without too much hassle. Since this sewing machine could handle both heavy fabric and delicate layers really well, it turned out to be a handy tool for different sewing needs that I have, from adjusting my clothes, making the length of my pants a little bit shorter, to replacing the cheap and short zippers from my clothes with strong and long ones. Therefore, I am pleased with this sewing machine.
