Excellent Replacement Chains – Sharp, Durable, and a Great Value! I picked up this 3-pack of KAKEI 16-inch chainsaw chains for my Stihl MS170, and I’ve been really impressed with the quality. These chains are a perfect fit—they match the specs exactly (3/8” low profile pitch, .043” gauge, 55 drive links), and installation was quick and easy. Out of the box, the chains were razor-sharp, and I immediately noticed how smoothly they cut through both soft and hardwood. These chains are extremely sharp when new and seem to stay sharp as well as other better known brands. They do seem to stretch more than what I'm used to, but I don't really have a problem with that. I would rate this as a very good chain at a reasonable price. I first bought a 3 pack of these for my MS170, I liked them so well that I bought another 3 pack for my Echo CS590.

I purchased one OEM chain for 20” Stihl and, for about the same price, this package of 3. The saw operator was very impressed with the quality m, sharpness and longevity of the German steel chains. He was cutting up a fallen 100 yr old pecan tree that was about 3’ in diameter. I will buy them again.

Fits well. Teeth are a bit different from the Oregon chains I've used forever but they cut well on a scrap log I had laying around. It was a bit tricky to find the right blade tension. Couldn't get the saw to start until I removed the chain and bar. Then it died back up. Being that I used the saw earlier in the week, I knew it had to be the chain. After playing with it a bit I got the saw started and cut the aforementioned log with ease. Should they fail or dull quickly I'll update the review, but for now five stars.

It works acording to your needs soecially in regilar wood. If you are looking for hard wood work, it may be as fast and good as a full chisel. This is semi-chisel so it works well, but slow on the knots.

Worked great on my Timberwolf. I was relieved they actually fit after trying two other chains from different companies that claimed compatibility but didn’t even install properly. These went on without issue, cut clean and fast, and had a sharp angle right out of the box. After several uses, the chain has held up well with no signs of dulling or stretching. Feels durable and well-balanced. Definitely a reliable option.
