Best part of this kit is the machine itself. Very sturdy body and powerful motor. Only concern I have is the arm on the cam looks to be made of plastic. Not sure if it is going to hold up for the long run but should be good enough to get you started with learning. Battery is very simple for newbies and kit seems pretty complete for a beginner.

I ordered this set for my 12 year old son because he wanted to start practicing tattooing (on fake skin of course). We have quite a few tattoo materials already from ourselves, but this kit does come with most of what you'll need to practice. Just an FYI but make sure you press the battery down far enough so that it locks into position. The battery charges up fine. The needles that come with the kit are fairly small for a beginning, though this does seem pretty standard for these kits. I would recommend a 1209RL for linework if you're just starting out. I do sometimes find the items in these kits a little odd for someone who seemingly has no supplies such as transfer paper without a printer or the one pair of black gloves that comes standard. I also hate the ink bottles for these because you tend to get some ink that leaks out when you're trying to cut the top off. Overall, good set though. Can't really complain for the price.

I went deep enough this star was completely shaded and colored in 1 week later it just completely pilled off in the shower..... now i have to purchase better ink and fix it . The gun isnt that bad
