Instead of storing hot water, Mini Series models are thankless, heating water instantaneously and endlessly as it flows through the unit. They are 99% efficient, and, unlike tank-type water heaters, have no stand-by energy losses. No venting is necessary and the sleek, super-compact design even allows for installation with the unit visible. Mini models are ideal for residential and commercial point-of-use hand-washing sink applications including: bathrooms, cabins and cottages, office buildings, stores, malls, warehouses, restaurants and gas stations. Mini models are sized based on the flow rate of the sink you are plumbing for hot water. The temperature of the hot water delivered by a Mini depends on the temperature of the incoming cold water, the water flow through the unit and the size of the Mini model that is installed. Mini models excel at supplying water at a constant temperature rise but must be carefully matched to the application in order to operate properly - professional installation is highly recommended.

This is low power tankless heater. Water gets really hot, but the stream is quite weak, although it definitely saves both water and electricity. I had it installed in kitchen 20A circuit, the one that feeds the disposal. If the hot water runs, and disposal turned on, the breaker flips, as there is not enough juice for both. However, normally, hot water is not used when disposal is working, so that is not a problem. Had is for 3 years, so far so good. Per my city code, installation needs to be done by licensed plumber and electrician (it is hard-wired and needs a junction box.) ... show more

I purchased this for my campervan build. I have a 2000w power inverter by Renogy. Renogy let me know that this water heater would be compatible since it is 1800w. I installed it which was simple. When i turned the hot water on, it worked, it definitely got pretty toasty (could be hotter) but the surge was too powerful for my inverter to handle. The warning light would always come on and i realized that it almost popped my 250 amp fuse. So unfortunately it is not worth it to me to use this heater with my current electric set up, so i did return it. Boiling water it is, HA! It should work without issues if you have a 2500 or 3000w inverter! ... show more

This unit correctly included in its details that it limited the flow to .32 gpm. What this means in reality is that the water supply after heating just trickles out the tap. The flow is actually 5 cups per minute, which is impossible to use in a bathroom sink. I can't think of an application that such a low flow would be satisfactory. On the positive side, it is easy to install, and heats water well- but it has no temp control, so the heater water must be tempered with cold to use. I returned the unit. ... show more

Added to the Muslim shower to have warm water all year round, especially in the cold weather of Boston! Very nice product, completely dependable, works like a charm. Straightforward to install - I did the installation all by self. I needed little extra hardware and got it from the local Home Depot store. It's been a few months since the install and it's working flawlessly! Just remember it has a damper to slow down the rate of water flow.     • Great system for low flow sink applications

We installed it and it works well. We installed this outside where we have a constrained outlet (15A, 120V, 12/2 gauge line), and don’t want to upgrade our system just for this heater . So our tankless heater options are limited. This heater did the trick. It only provides 0.32 gallons per minute, but that’s all we need for our application. It also comes with a faucet adapter that limits the flow rate to .32 GPH and creates a shower effect so we get good coverage when washing our hands. We bought a version with cosmetic damage and saved a bunch of money. The damage is barely noticeable unless you really look for it. I’m happy with the purchase. ... show more
