I ordered this to use as a blanket on a toddler bed, since it's nearly impossible to find reasonably priced cotton bedding for toddlers (WHY is everything polyester these days!?!?!?). It's perfect for this purpose and I'm very happy with my purchase. I knocked off a star because when it arrived, there was a rather prominent pulled thread, but it wasn't worth the hassle of returning (and it is somewhat less prominent after washing and drying). Also, after washing on delicate and tumble drying, it shrunk to 46.5" x 49". So, a huge difference from the advertised dimensions of 50 x 60. Again, this still works perfectly for my use on a toddler bed, but it would be too short for a tall adult to use comfortably on a sofa, which is, after all, what it is marketed for. I'm well aware that cotton shrinks. but I've purchased numerous cotton blankets for my bed in the past, and the best ones are *larger* than the stated dimensions when you buy it, so that after shrinking it still fits the bed. There's no reason a throw blanket should be exempt from that manufacturing courtesy! Overall, I'd buy again. But if I were to use it on the sofa, I'd remove it from the dryer while still damp, and stretch it out to dry over a table or something to preserve the length. ... show more
