  • Great price, but get an extra larger capacity HDD.
Set name: I7/RX 580
So far so good. Be aware that this specific model (STGAubron Gaming PC Desktop Computer, Intel Core i7 up to 3.9GHz, Radeon RX 580 8G, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD, WiFi 6, BT 5.0, RGB Fan x3, Windows 11 Home, White) has older components, which does not take away from the product in any way, as it performs very well for what you're getting. Yes it is 32GB of system RAM, however, and I think they should disclose this on their description, it is DDR3, which again, is not a bad thing, ESPECIALLY for the price you're getting this at. My last PC build had basically the same specs, and that thing ran like a champ, sadly the motherboard died (My current system is more modern than this PC I just bought). So far this computer has performed very well for 1080p gaming on high settings (not ultra) for the games I've installed on it (The Crew 2, Ghost Recon Breakpoin, Assasin's Creed Odyssey, Infinite Nikki and a lot others for example). As far as long term performance, I'll have to report back on it at a later date, since I bought this PC as a gift for my wife for us to be able to game together. But so far I'm satisfied. It performs well, looks great, especially with the RGB lighting (side note, the lighting is controlled via a remote, which I actually prefer over having to change setting within the OS, and the remote has a magnetic strip on the back so you can attach it to the metal part of the case). The WiFi works and the connection is strong, as well as the ethernet, both work as intended. The GPU has connections for HDMI, DVI, and display port. This PC can theoretically run video editing software like Davinci Resolve, since my previous machine could handle the same load with the same specs as this machine, so it is versatile for work and gaming, and light AI (I installed Ollama on this machine and it can run the smaller LLM's I installed from Gemma 3 and Gemma 4. Setting up the PC's OS (Windows 11 Home) was a breeze. My only recommendation is to get an extra HDD (unless you prefer the more expensive SSD) as the included 512GB SSD is not enough unless you offload games. Oh FYI, the WiFi and Bluetooth comes separate as s USB antenna adapter, which can be plugged into the back IO or side panel USB port. One last thing, the keyboard and mouse that are included are BASIC and SUPER cheap, but again, for what you're getting I cannot complain, just be aware of it. Personally I'm not a mouse and keyboard gamer, but rather prefer to play with a gamepad. ... show more

  • (DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY) PC CAME WITH TWO FAULTY RAM SLOTS ON MOTHERBOARD
Set name: I7/RTX 3050
I'm writing this review on this PC that I just got in the mail. Fast shipping and the packaging was wonderful. This is the first company I've seen put safety precautions inside of the computer such as Styrofoam. Fast gaming pc, works on arrival and I haven't seen any problems with it. Will recommend EDIT: after a couple of days of using the PC, there has been random freezing that only can be fixed by shutting down. Looking at the motherboard the DIMM3 red light is on for the ram meaning the third slot ram stick is either faulty or wrongly placed, after doing some investigative work on a PC and re-inserting the ram it seems like one of the clamps for the third ram slot has trouble holding and clamping. Outside of that there isn’t that many issues I will have to go to the shop to see what’s wrong with the motherboard ram slots. I will also place the ram stick on another slot to see if it’s the ram stick or the clamps on the ram stick slot EDIT 2: Did more technical work and found out that there is an issue with the DIMM3 Ram Slot (3rd Ram slot) on the motherboard. I removed the 1st and 3rd ram sticks from the motherboard and the red light disappeared. I then used the remaining ram sticks and inserted them into the 1st and 3rd ram slots and then the red light reappeared. The motherboard came in with a faulty ram slot. I've contacted the seller in hopes of a replacement PC being sent. Will update on if I have any luck with that, until I get a resolution on the matter, my review score will be at 2 stars. ... show more

  • A review of a gaming computer from a non-gamer, so take it for what it's worth...
I needed a new computer because my old one was not able to be upgraded to Windows 11. I have always built my own PC's but I have not been following the technology lately and had concerns about buying parts that may or may not be compatible. As I spoke to a few gamer friends who gave me suggestions on various parts, it was also suggested to just buy a complete kit and then I didn't have to worry about any of the small details. I did some research and decided on a CPU, RAM, drive, etc. and scoured Amazon and few other retailers, then eliminated kits that didn't meet what I wanted and as I was eliminating, I whittled my selection down to this STGAubron unit. It was very relieving to just open it and plug it in and it ran. No issues whatsoever. I thought my current monitor was one of the video options but it wasn't, so I borrowed my son's 24" TV and used the HDMI video until I could order a new monitor. The picture was really nice on the TV but once I got an actual monitor...WOW! The video was incredible. I logged into Netflix and the picture on the movies was awesome. I'm not a gamer, so I can't tell you how it works under the load of an actual game, but this PC is REALLY REALLY NICE from my perspective. I chose a gamer PC because gamers require some serious firepower and this thing is just great from every perspective. My son is away at school and I texted him some pics with all the fans and the keyboard and mouse lit up and the first thing he said was "that looks expensive". And honestly, the price was not all that much more than if I had sourced the parts separately. For an old guy like me, I kinda like all the lights in the fans and keyboard, LOL! Again, I'm not a gamer, but I love this PC. It's fast, it looks nice, and I may even get a game or two to check out the gaming side. Five+ stars!!! ... show more

  • Non Technical Review - 👍🏽 A Good Buy! 👍🏽
Set name: Ryzen 3/RX 590
If you’re looking for a good quality entry level gaming computer I believe this one will make you happy. My son is 19yrs old and a gamer, but needed an additional computer to run when he’s here visiting his dear old dad so I bought this one for him. He really enjoyed it and it was easy to set up, and value for the money was awesome and I made sure it had Windows 11 (I had to send another computer back because it wouldn’t upgrade to 11) so this computer comes with Windows 11 pre-loaded! He plays Marvel Rivals a lot and Roblox so he needs a set up that’s fast and it runs well, and the graphics are very good. Cons: This computer comes with a really poor Wi-Fi antenna, it’s a small usb nib in the back of the computer. It’s very slow and weak, so we replaced it with a UGreen WiFi Antenna for around $14 and it made this computer scream with speed! No lag and very fast reaction time so he can move quickly. Overall: It’s a 👍🏽 Thumbs Up and I’d definitely recommend this computer, but know you’ll need to replace the WiFi Antenna! ... show more

  • A Great Value… BUT
Set name: Ryzen 5/RTX 2060
I enjoy PC gaming, but have yet to fully dive into the prospect of building my own unit by each component. So for me (and like many others) a pre-built PC is the only choice. Anyone looking into getting a prebuild for yourself or for a loved one (I.e. Christmas gift) PLEASE do your homework. Many listings are misleading in their component capabilities and half of that blame falls on the actual manufacturers, sometimes higher numbers don’t always mean better parts. Cross reference these parts thru pcbuilds.com and user benchmark.com to compare and get a better idea of performance expectations. I got the RTX 2060 w/ Ryzen 5 PRO 2600, 16 gb of DDR4 ram, and out of the box it can run many of your go to games. There are two major downfalls, however: 1.) the wifi, like many reviews, mine too had poor wifi support built in, not even a dongle helped improve speeds. Making an Ethernet connection to your modem a necessity, doing so will bring you back up to what you expect. 2.) it needs more RAM, the cpu is still capable, but games such as Escape From Tarkov are poorly optimized and need much more than 16 gigs of ram to run smoothly. I upgraded mine to Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32 gig ram for $60, and the results speak for themselves. Once I made these two changes I can say I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. If you can, grab this one when it has the $50 or $100 coupon to offset the cost of ram and an Ethernet cable, and you have yourself a capable computer. Games I have installed and tested: Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Fortnite Escape From Tarkov The Witcher 3 I ran all of them for over an hour and captured 60+ FPS at high settings, that is without overclock. Bottleneck tests were at 4%, and at no time did the gpu or cpu overheat past 83°C during any and all tests/gameplay. I also run a 35in ultrawide and 24in secondary monitor concurrently, and did have a 10 fps variance when running multiple background apps such as music, discord and/or a browser open with multiple tabs. As for looks, the windows give a great view to the internals with rgb lighting and can be customized to your preference. Plenty of USB ports to house my wireless keyboard, mouse, and headset from the rear to leave the forward USB ports for easy access/clean appearance. If you were to make this your first PC I believe you made a good choice! If there are any changes I will be sure to update this review, so keeping in mind everything I noted above I am comfortable rating it 4 out of 5 stars. Happy Gaming! ... show more

  • 99% Great1%bad
Set name: I7/RTX 3050
Computer came nicely packed, double boxed. I carefully unpacked it and read all the direction, and watched the video before setting it up. I have been running Subnautica on it for a few days with no issues. I am having an issue with the Sound bar, it can run off battery power, for a day, I charged it using the cord and when I tried to remove the cord it snapped.I contacted Amazon and they said my only option is to return the whole computer. I already spent a day setting it up and loading my games on it. So I guess I will have to try to buy a replacement cord. Fair warning, connecting cords may be made of softer metal than you are used to. I would also note that while the pretty lights on everything, including a mouse pad are fun, for about 5 minutes, I would have liked to save a few dollars and gone without. I keep the pc in my bedroom and still can't figure out how to turn all the lights off so I can sleep. Of the extras I probably would not have purchased if they did not come with the computer, headphones-love them, sound bar-extra piece of equipment and the cord broke-so no, light up mousepad-definately not-uses extra usb slot and there are not that many on the machine. ... show more

  • STARS: DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU LIKE BLACK SCREENS
Set name: I7 8th/RX 5700
This PC is honestly nothing more than a fancy, overpriced brick with RGB lights on it that I’m officially done dealing with. I bought this machine expecting to actually use it, but instead, I’ve spent my entire day staring at a "No Signal" screen and fighting with a graphics card that won't stay connected to the motherboard. Every time I try to do something as simple as moving an HDMI cable or picking the case up to adjust my setup, the whole system either freezes in time or completely blacks out, forcing me to spend hours shoving parts back into their slots just to get a glimpse of a desktop. It’s incredibly frustrating to have a computer that looks like a high-end gaming rig but performs like a broken toy that can't even handle a basic "handshake" with my monitor without tripping its own safety breaker. Just when I thought things were finally looking up—the fans were humming perfectly, the RGB was glowing, and the desktop actually loaded for a split second—I thought I was finally about to write a glowing, five-star review about how this machine is a beast that just needed a little love. But then, as soon as I reached for the mouse, the entire screen stuttered, the image locked up, and the PC dropped right back into a total, unresponsive freeze that reminded me this thing is a total 0/10 that is going straight back to the store. ... show more
