The bomber jacket in burgundy color is classy. The fabric is soft and feels like quality leather even though is faux leather. The inside of the jacket is lined with a soft fabric including the sleeves and pockets. The color of the outer jacket and lining is burgundy and has a violet color undertone rather than a red undertone. I am 5'2" tall, 130lbs, 35" bust, 29" waist, 41" hips and size Medium fits a little bigger from the shoulders, chest and sleeves. The bottom of the jacket reaches to my widest part on the hips and fits well. The style of the jacket is oversized and I feel it oversized especially if I wear the zipper open but wearing it with the zipper closed it fits better. Looking at the size chart my measurements align with size Small and that would give me a bomber jacket style. Care instructions for the jacket are not to machine wash or dry clean and instead to wash by hand. The jacket is warm, and I enjoy wearing it with burgundy shoes and tan colors to contrast the violet undertone. ... show more

Ok...Hold on. It's a novel but there's so much to say! This Steve Madden jacket really surprised me with its design! It’s oversized, so while I bought my usual size, I definitely could have gone one (maybe even two) sizes down if I wanted a sharper fit across the shoulders and bust. That said, the relaxed cut is clearly intentional, and it gives off a modern, casual-chic vibe. The details are what make this piece stand out. The wide elastic band at the bottom gives it bomber jacket energy, while the shirt-style collar keeps it versatile. I do wish the collar had more structure (a bit more interfacing would have let me pop it dramatically), but even as-is, it’s a fun detail. My absolute favorite part? The sleeves. The cuffs are pleated and gathered beautifully, finished with metal snaps that I’ll never need to undo because the fit is so generous. They look elegant and a little dramatic in the best way. Other wins: Black metallic zipper – I LOVE that they didn’t ruin the sleek look with bright silver or gold. The black-on-black keeps it classy. Generous pockets – My Galaxy S24 Ultra fits almost entirely inside, which is rare for women’s jackets! Flattering shape – With a slim shirt underneath, the oversized cut actually makes my frame look smaller. The only downsides are that there’s no interior chest pocket (something I always envy on men’s jackets), and it’s strictly “wipe clean only”—no washing, no dry cleaning. So it’s not the most practical for people who are hard on their coats. Overall, though, this is a great-looking piece with stylish details that elevate it well above your average faux leather jacket. The fit is atrocious. It is just boxy but not in a good way. The style and material do not seem to work well together. The pockets are awkward and there are no internal pockets. The material feels like a cheap garbage bag. It did not have a chemical smell or anything like that but that was the only positive. I wouldn’t spend my money on this. ... show more

I’m so glad I picked up the Steve Madden Faux Leather Oversized Bomber Jacket! I’ve been wanting a jacket that’s both stylish and easy to throw on, and this one has quickly become my favorite.
