Was a little skeptical ordering this because of the low number of reviews and a couple of bad reviews. However, we had no issues with assembly and our daughter absolutely loves it. The instructions suggest average assembly time at 6-8 hours, and that seems accurate. My wife and I worked together and it took us around 6.5 hours. None of it was particularly challenging or complicated, there are just a lot of pieces. Building it again a second time, maybe we could do it 30-60 minutes faster. I was very impressed with the quality of wood and hardware. If there's any complaint at all, it's that the roof alignment could be marginally better. To get the roof aligned well, it takes someone applying quite a bit of downward pressure when screwing the two pieces together. Plastic pieces are not pre-drilled, but drill locations are clearly marked and are extremely easy to drill out. Per one of the other review, I do not understand how you could break a drill bit on the plastic (or the wood for that matter). We did not have any missing or damaged pieces. The full set arrives in 5 boxes and seems appropriately packaged. The assembled product is very sturdy but light enough that we built 95% of it in our garage before carrying it out to the yard and attaching the slide and ramp. We caught this on sale from 20% below the normal price, which made it an easier purchase decision. Given the quality of materials and the joy it's already brought our family in 2 days, I could stomach the full price. Assuming all the materials arrive in good condition, don't let the other reviews scare you away. Yes, it does take a long time to assemble, but it should be straight forward for anyone with a moderate DIY skill level and some patience. I have searched and read many reviews on Play houses with a slide, that would be suitable for a two-year-old who would have room as she grows to play in it for a while. This playhouse is really nice and big enough for two little kids to play in it. It’s about 6 feet tall and very sturdy. The slide is a good size, the wood is already weather treated, It comes with instructions on how to treat the wood throughout the year to keep it nice looking so that you have the Playhouse for quite a while. My kids absolutely love this Playhouse and I am so happy I purchased it. It’s very cute. Very sturdy and I love the storage drawer that comes with it. ***Be prepared to spend a whole day, putting it together. Use a power, It’ll help the time go faster. Also be prepared for it to be shipped in multiple boxes. I received it all at the same time, but there was about 5 big boxes that I received all together. ... show more

This took about 10 hours to put together. The roof pieces are misaligned. The plastic is so hard to pierce with the screws that I had to use drill bits, and I broke two drill bits on it! Anything that is not pre-drilled is difficult to drill even with a power drill. There are areas that the screws won’t insert the entire way. Completely overpriced and not worth it. ... show more

This is a nice sized playhouse/play set for toddler! It is very cute and my 2 year old is loving it so far. It says for ages 3-8 but I think ages 1-6 is more appropriate. It is pretty short so I don’t think older kids would be able to fit in or enjoy this. The build took about 6 hours with 2 people and would’ve gone faster if we had found the large paper instructions on the back of the door sooner (oops). Trying to read directions off your small phone screen is not recommended. It takes a long time to just locate the pieces and hardware you need so I would recommend sorting things and spreading out as much as possible when you first unbox the pieces. I bought this on sale for a little under $500 so I think it is a good value considering there is a lot of wood pieces and thick plastic that lasts a long time. ... show more

Absolutely perfect for our little one! She’s almost 2, and this playground is incredible for her! It’s very well made. It does come in several boxes and you’re building every single piece (my husband is very handy and it took him about 5 hours). Very durable. Wonderful wood. Love the little toy container. I searched for a LONG time before finally deciding on this one. My 2.5 year old loves! It took my husband about 5.5-6 hours to build, mostly on his own. I helped for maybe 40 minutes just when it was time to stand things up. I know the measurements are on there, but I will say I was expecting a little bigger for the price. It does work great in our teeny tiny backyard though. A few issues I have: 1) the step inside is crazy high. I was expecting it to have 2 steps to get from the lower level to the slide. My daughter struggles a little with the height there. 2) the ramp to get inside has almost no traction. I feel like the lips should be a bit more prominent, or maybe have something to grab on to. A little struggle. All in all a good buy. Daughter enjoys it. ... show more
