  • Nearly Perfect, With a Little Alteration
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
Overall, would recommend this play kitchen! It’s on the taller side—perfect for my almost 5yo. But not too tall that the 2yo can’t have fun, too. Agree with another review that it *could* have more interactive features (like ice dispenser), but there’s still a good amount (oven and fridge lights; popcorn and blender; sizzling pan, boiling water). REALLY like that the oven actually opens down, instead of a side hinge, like most play kitchens. Comes with a good amount of accessories! Like others have said, the fridge shelves easily come out, so we need to super glue them or something. I’m not a fan of the neon color choice for certain parts. We bought a non-toxic & eco-friendly primer/paint that was recommended for painting plastic toys... But after drying, it was evident the paint chipped fairly easily, unfortunately. So we had to strip it off and just use a spray paint. Not sure how it’ll hold up in the long run—Though definitely prefer the rose color over neon. Assembly was a little time consuming, but wasn’t horrible. Comes in three large boxes, so if not assembling right away, have a storage space ready to go. It seems really durable and easy to clean. Did come a little dirty, but easily wipeable. Giving 5 stars, since we got it on sale, around $300… Had it in my cart for many months, and finally saw it go down for just a few days in November (weeks before Black Friday). ... show more

  • Well worth the price
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
I bought this kitchen for my 4 year old granddaughter and although it took about 4 hours to put together it was well worth it. The assembly is quite easy to follow you are just dealing with pictures to explain how to build it rather than long paragraphs that don’t make sense. If you can build a puzzle you can build this kitchen set. I did my research on over 20 different kitchen sets before deciding on this one. The others were on the small size wherein the child is bound to grow out of playing within a year or they were just plain old compressed wood kitchens that did absolute nothing except make a turning sound on the gas knobs for the oven or a dropping sound when ice cube falls out of an ice cube maker. What fun is that for a child? Although this kitchen did not come with a built-in ice maker like some of the others, the lighted fridge door truly makes up for it. I just bought the Melissa and Doug ice juice dispenser as an addition to make up for the ice dispenser lacking in this kitchen set. There is also lots of storage space. This kitchen has all the bells and whistles and it is nice and tall so your child has many years of enjoyment. The only thing I wish was different was the microwave I feel for the price they could have had buttons to press and possible lights and movement. Other than that no complaints. The price may be high but well worth it. ... show more

  • Defective therefore overpriced
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
Update- excellent customer service! They quickly sent me replacement parts! My popcorn maker and blender do not work and that was the whole reason why I bought this model. Also, not having pre-drilled holes makes it difficult to assemble. It's also very hard to line up all of the sections at the final assembly- the pieces truly don't fit together well. I would not recommend due to the multiple issues and the defective popcorn maker and defective blender. I know it's not a battery issue because the pot and pan respond to the burner. I disassembled the popcorn maker and blender and it appears the wires are not soldered correctly. ... show more

  • Definitely worth the money!!!
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing play kitchen!!! We got it as a Christmas present for our daughter knowing it can easily be a toy she can grow with for years to come. It does a take some time to put together even if you have a power drill, I wish the holes were predrilled to help with putting it together faster but it was manageable. For the price we paid I think it’s an amazing quality toy and seems to be really sturdy. I do need to reach out to the company because we’re missing a few accessories, like the phone, and a spoon luckily I’ve seen great things about customer service in other reviews so hopefully it’ll be the same for us. ... show more

  • Extremely overpriced. Barely any features. Very difficult to assemble.
Pattern Name: Kitchen Set
It arrived in 3 boxes. Nothing was packaged except the accessories. The kitchen came scratched and scuffed up and had black marks all over it. Terrible packaging. $400+ item and no thought was given whatsoever to ensure it arrived with care. For what it costs, there should be significantly more electronic interactions - such as buttons/noises/lights for the microwave, water sounds for the sink, coffee brewing sounds for the coffee “machine”, and maybe even buttons that beep for the pretend phone. Wildly disappointed for the price point for such little features. This is very expensive for how basic it is….Also the racks for the fridge fall out the minute any of my children take something out of the fridge. Don’t understand why those didn’t include screws or some way to adhere them permanently. HORRIBLE assembly. Took more hours that I can count. Not even remotely straight forward. Couldn’t even use the utensil hooks because I injured myself attempting to push them into the holes. Neither myself nor my husband could get them to push into the holes. Extremely disappointed that my children will not get to enjoy that feature. ... show more
