The preschool kids absolutely loved it, and it quickly became one of those toys they kept coming back to instead of playing with for five minutes and moving on. The set is incredibly fun for little ones who love pretend play, baking, cooking, and creating their own little make-believe worlds. The variety of pieces gives them so much to work with, and I loved watching them come up with their own games and stories around it. One minute they were pretending to be running a bakery, the next they were “baking” cookies for everyone in the family and proudly presenting their creations. The pieces are colorful, cute, and perfectly suited to imaginative preschool play. There is something really satisfying about having a play set where the kids can actually interact with all the different pieces instead of just looking at them. They were sorting, arranging, choosing their favorites, pretending to mix ingredients, making “orders,” and serving cookies to each other. It kept them busy while encouraging creativity and pretend-play skills at the same time. What really stood out to me was how engaged the kids were. Preschool attention spans can be measured in dog years, so when a toy keeps them interested and playing together, that’s a win in my book! They were having conversations, taking turns, making up scenarios, and using their imaginations without needing an adult to constantly tell them what to do next. It also makes a great activity for siblings or multiple children because they can play together and create their own little bakery or kitchen. Watching them interact with the set was honestly more entertaining than I expected. They took their pretend bakery very seriously! The set also has that wonderful quality of being open-ended. There isn’t just one way to play with it. Kids can invent completely different games every time they bring it out, which makes it much more likely to stay interesting over time. Overall, the Elitoki Cookie Play Set was a huge success with our preschoolers. It’s colorful, entertaining, imaginative, and gives kids plenty of opportunities for pretend play and interaction. If you’re looking for a gift or play set for a preschool-aged child who loves cookies, baking, kitchens, or pretending to run their own little business, this is a fantastic choice. The kids loved it, the imagination was running wild, and our pretend bakery apparently has a very busy schedule! 🍪
