The step ladder arrived wrapped in plastic in a sturdy box. There was no damage and the finish was intact. This is a very nice little step ladder. It opens easily and smoothly and when fully open it locks in place. There is no catch to hold it open but it doesn't need it. It can be lifted and moved without it trying to close on its own. The finish is smooth and would be easy to clean. The treads are wide and have ridges to make it less slippery. It's not a non-skid surface like a skateboard but it does offer resistance to slippage. It's very sturdy and sits perfectly flat, no wobble whatsoever. I'm not the most confident on ladders but I felt secure on this because of the stability and the wide steps. The distance between the steps is comfortable, not too much or too little. The ladder is easy to close with one hand and stores flat. One aspect I particularly like is the white rubbery feet. We have solid surface flooring and I'm always concerned about scratches. Not only won't these feet scratch my floors, they enable it to really grip so there's no chance of it slipping. That does mean you're not able to scootch it across the floor, but a step ladder staying put is a good thing. I'm sure it'll be secure on wood or carpeting as well. It also won't leave any dark marks on the floor. I would keep it for indoor use only to preserve that feature. It's also a nice size. I'm 5'6" and we have 8' ceilings. I can reach most of what I need from the middle step and everything is in reach from the top. I'm very happy to have it. We have several ladders of varying sizes but I know this one will get a lot of use. From its small storage footprint to its ease of opening to its stability and convenient size, it will be my go-to. The pink color is kind of neat and surprisingly helpful. 'Honey, can you get the ladder?' turns into a guessing game as we have several, but 'can you get me the pink ladder' is unambiguous.

This ladder is incredibly well-made and sturdy. It's light enough to be held in one hand and carried around, and thin enough to be stored almost anywhere, be it in front of a closet, on hooks behind a door, or between a fridge and the wall. When placed down, it's very sturdy and doesn't even feel like it moves or wiggles at all as you're standing on it. It feels very safe to use, even on it's third, highest step. I'm a short person, and this makes getting into my higher cabinets a breeze, and fits in the pantry of my kitchen without really taking up any extra space! I could wish it came in a color other than bright purple, but its kind of growing on me!

We got this latter because we care tired of the kids claiming not the cabinets, using drawers for stairs. This ladder is the perfect height for average side cabinets. My kids can reach in the upper cabinets without climbing on the counters. The ladder is a very light weight aluminum so my kids can easily carry it. And it very easily folds up and is very low profile. The ladder seems very well built despite being so light. I highly recommend this ladder.
