Loved the color, loved the material, loved the thickness for the cost. However, unless you have some handiness or serious perseverance and an assortment of power tools this is not an easy installation. There are special rivets on the cylinder of most awnings, which The average person is not going to have the proper tool. I had do use drill bits to remove them and then I had to dig through an assortment of different sized Self tapping metal screws to replace the rivets. Once the rivets for handled the actual installation is very quick, However it does take two people. You will need some sawhorses ladders, pliers etc. Do you want to be careful that as you’re installing your awning that you don’t accidentally rip it. Overall I’d recommend this product for the quality the durability the thickness, And its overall stitching quality. But there will not be anyone who can do this in five minutes, Unless they replace awnings professionally every single day. With that being said be prepared for an all day project.

Just finally installed. Replacement awning fabric 16' powered awning. Took 2 plus years to find the time to intall it, original awning was just starting to show signs of aging so wasn't in hurry to replace. Me and my wife replaced it last weekend, was a fairly simple straight forward job that can be easily done by a least two people. Finished project looks great and hope it hold up for years to come

WE are install a 2nd hand awing that we got off the internet. It did not come with the awing or a couple of brackets. WE do not use our RV very much so I did not want to spend a lot of money. While there are a lot of extra heavy materials out there if you do not want to pay a huge price these are the right ones to buy. The awing arrived in 2 days from the time I ordered it. The color is correct for what I wanted and ordered. I would say the material is a medium weight with a solid weave in it. It came with all the mounting strips already in place. Once you look at the internet on how to replace the fabric on your vehicle it will be a snap with this kit Please note that if you do not have an awing and are starting from scratch this product is the way to go. We installed the hardware for the frame and this awning material slid right in as it should. An important thing to think about when doing a job like this is where you can find the mounting arms or if you have them how much you are going to use the awing. Bottom line was after locating the awing supports and with the few brackets, a spring replacement that we were not told was broken and this fantastic product we are out a total of $337 with only $100 being the cost of the material. In case you want to do like we did the cost of a total NEW factory awing is $2300 plus labor. as compared to $337 and your labor. That is the way to go. And this material is the way to go plus they offer the widest range of colors available that I was able to find and the material is water proof. So if you are only going to use your RV 5 or 6 times a year I can see this material lasting a good 10 years on average and for around $100 depending on your length needed you can't go wrong

UPDATE...had the proverbial tennis match between Amazon and the company it came from..each one denying responsibiltiy and referring to the other one. Tried to explain the long process of installing making it nearly impossible to take down and return, sent numerous pictures...but in the end they did nothing. BUYER ... NOT BUY...would have given NO stars if possible...cheaply made...wont last a season, arrived with tiny holes and crimping on seams. contacted both amazon and manufacturer but neither wants to make it right. we spent many hours installing, but with the tiny holes we may not have great coverage from rain.

I had pretty low expectations since I was buying in this lower price range, but the quality turned out to be really great. I just installed, so can't comment on the durability long term, but the material is nice and thick, the pattern looks great, and the install went really well. Everything is working the way it's supposed to. The instructions weren't 100% clear, but there are tons of videos on you tube that walk you through it. Super happy with the purchase.
