WE are install a 2nd hand awing that we got off the internet. It did not come with the awing or a couple of brackets. WE do not use our RV very much so I did not want to spend a lot of money. While there are a lot of extra heavy materials out there if you do not want to pay a huge price these are the right ones to buy. The awing arrived in 2 days from the time I ordered it. The color is correct for what I wanted and ordered. I would say the material is a medium weight with a solid weave in it. It came with all the mounting strips already in place. Once you look at the internet on how to replace the fabric on your vehicle it will be a snap with this kit Please note that if you do not have an awing and are starting from scratch this product is the way to go. We installed the hardware for the frame and this awning material slid right in as it should. An important thing to think about when doing a job like this is where you can find the mounting arms or if you have them how much you are going to use the awing. Bottom line was after locating the awing supports and with the few brackets, a spring replacement that we were not told was broken and this fantastic product we are out a total of $337 with only $100 being the cost of the material. In case you want to do like we did the cost of a total NEW factory awing is $2300 plus labor. as compared to $337 and your labor. That is the way to go. And this material is the way to go plus they offer the widest range of colors available that I was able to find and the material is water proof. So if you are only going to use your RV 5 or 6 times a year I can see this material lasting a good 10 years on average and for around $100 depending on your length needed you can't go wrong ... show more

Pretty happy with the replacement awning fabric. It was fairly easy to install. The color was better than I expected, and seems to be pretty durable. We go camping in 2 weeks and am excited to put it to good use.

I really like this awning above the other one I had because it is a single layer yet very sturdy and durable. My double layered one came apart and created water bubbles between the layers. I appreciate the excellent quality and coverage this awning gives. It also looks super nice on my RV.

Installed in one hour with 2 people and fit perfectly. Nice color and thickness. seemed as good as original. Had to deduct a star because it had small hole. Easy fix so we didn’t bother to return

It was easy installe. The only defect was the space between where fabrics attach to awning and Valence was to big. Leaves a space for bugs to gather. Not so good. The cord that’s was a top of fabrics for track was a little smaller hope fully it won’t come out in a wind storm. To be followed.

    • Not universal fit. I needed 1/4 chord or bead at the top but was smaller 7/32.

I needed 1/4 inch chord or bead at the top but was 7/32 which slipped off the track. The two at the bottom which slip into the roller were 7/32 and matched my roller. I will need to fold the top around my old 1/4 chord to get around it but lots more work.

    • Not for the faint of heart installation
Loved the color, loved the material, loved the thickness for the cost. However, unless you have some handiness or serious perseverance and an assortment of power tools this is not an easy installation. There are special rivets on the cylinder of most awnings, which The average person is not going to have the proper tool. I had do use drill bits to remove them and then I had to dig through an assortment of different sized Self tapping metal screws to replace the rivets. Once the rivets for handled the actual installation is very quick, However it does take two people. You will need some sawhorses ladders, pliers etc. Do you want to be careful that as you’re installing your awning that you don’t accidentally rip it. Overall I’d recommend this product for the quality the durability the thickness, And its overall stitching quality. But there will not be anyone who can do this in five minutes, Unless they replace awnings professionally every single day. With that being said be prepared for an all day project. ... show more
