  • Great so far!
Style: PC | PlayStation - New Etail Packaging Color: White
Have had the Steelseries Arctis 7P+ for a few years playing on PS5 and they’ve been a great headset. Just got these Arctis Nova Pro’s for my PC and they do not disappoint. Sound is great and really like the multipoint Bluetooth. Can be connected to the PC and playing a game picking up in game audio and chat while streaming music from my phone or can take a phone call through the headset with or without receiving in game audio at the same time and talk comfortably. I downloaded the steelseries sonar app on my pc and the sound customization really is limitless. Steelseries fine tuned audio settings for each individual game. Just search up the game your wanting to playing in the steelseries app and they already have fine tuned presets for your specific game. They’re a lot more comfortable for long hours than other headsets I’ve used. The Arctis 7P+ has been super comfy as well. The equalizer/battery dock thing I haven’t really messed with much but kinda nice to look down at a glance and see your volume levels and what the headset battery level is and also where the battery level is that’s currently charging. This headset is really loud too, I’m always on the higher volume level spectrum when it comes to headsets and these I can actually run a little over 50% and it’s plenty loud. My 7P+’s I tend to run the volume all the way up to get the performance I like. Really wanted the Arctis Nova Elite’s for the Gold/Sage color and the ear cup swivels are metal but I can’t justify an additional $200 just for the color scheme and metal. Quite honestly you’d think for over $300 these ones would come that way but that’s the only complaint I have. Overall I’m happy. ... show more

  • Not worth the money in any way
Style: PC | PlayStation - New Etail Packaging Color: Black
The sound quality of this headset by itself is mediocre at best, but I was initially ok with adjusting it within the Sonar app instead. Unfortunately, the app has caused nothing but headaches. It periodically stops working and the only fix is to uninstall and reinstall it, losing all of my custom settings. The headset mic and app started glitching in an unforgiveable way a couple months ago. Every time I spoke in discord for the first time that day, my mic wouldn't work. I had to open Sonar in order for my mic to go live. That was the last straw. I switched headsets and will never go back to Steelseries. Do yourself a favor and buy a quality wired headset and download any of the numerous free audio mixer apps (I got FXSound). Their physical dac is not worth it, and Sonar makes this headset pretty useless. ... show more

  • Nice design, love the DAC, crisp sound, but hard to recommend at $300 MSRP
Style: PC | PlayStation - New Etail Packaging Color: Black
These are excellent headphones that look and sound great, although they are pricey. There's a lot to love. The entire kit has a premium feel, and I had no fit issues. I've worn these for several hours at a time, and they are comfortable and fit very well. Audio is very clear and crisp without excessive bass or mid-range muddiness. The pads are comfortable, but they do hold body heat that becomes noticeable after about an hour. Connectivity is great, and these paired almost instantly via wired USB connection. The headphones' power button is easy to access and use, and I like the small power indicator light. The dual battery setup is very convenient, and I *love* the DAC volume knob - especially for older games where volume control does not work well. Seeing L&R channels move with volume is very cool. The mic tucks away when not in use, which is nice. Coming from competitor headphones, I do have a few minor critiques. There are no clicks or markings for side height adjustment, which feels odd. For premium headphones, there is a lot more plastic than I expected in their construction. I have no idea how long the headphone knob will last, especially since it does not feel as nice as other components. Battery alignment can be tricky in the DAC, as sometimes you press in and down and the battery does not start charging. Last note, I had a terrible time pulling out the mic from the headset. The initial piece of paper got stuck inside, and it took a surprising amount of force for that first opening. Overall, these are nice headphones, but I struggle to recommend them at their $300 MSRP. I think these are great, but at that cost, it's hard to a fair value for your money. They sound better than some of my older TB & bluetooth headphones, but it's hard to say that these sound 10x better at 10x the price. A lot of the cost is possibly with the amp design, and I like the user replaceable batteries, but you pay for that convenience. If you're not price sensitive, I think you'll love the headphones. If you're on the fence about headphones that cost half as much as the PS5 they can pair with, I recommend researching carefully to ensure this set has all the features you need. ... show more

  • Better than the ps5 headphones for gaming.
Style: PC | PlayStation - New Etail Packaging Color: Black
I purchased these to use with my PlayStation 5. The reviews are sort of all over the place so I didn’t know what to think. The quality and feel of the headphones is good. They have a decent weight and feel to be well made. The ear pads are soft and comfortable. It has a mic that can retract back in to the body of the head phones. It comes with a usb control module which is very different from the other headphones I have used. At first impression they were not very loud even when turned up to the max. I had to play with the module to get the volume to go up louder and get it adjusted to my preference. Connecting it to the PlayStation was fairly straightforward following the instructions of how to get it to pair and how to go through the menus on the ps5 to add it. It has taken me awhile to get time to write a review on this. Mostly my 5 year old has been using it to play. I don’t get nearly as much time to game as I used to. For sound quality they are comparable to the other brands I’ve tried. I still think given a choice other brands have better sound for music. If you are an audiophile you may be better off with something that has bigger and more powerful drivers. I think where these shine is with gaming and being able to sync with other devices and having the second battery and long battery life to not interrupt a gaming marathon. They work well for what I’d call natural sounds. Like speech or footsteps in other words the audio quality is clear. They are not super loud or overpowering. I would give them a high rating for figment. They fit myself, my wife, and even my child. All with wildly different head sizes. I wish they were a little less expensive. There are alternatives out there for a good bit cheaper. I feel these are for serious gamers, which I used to be before having a kid. Overall I do like them and would recommend them if this falls within your budget. ... show more

  • Mic too quiet
Style: PC | PlayStation - New Etail Packaging Color: Black
Using it on ps5, mic is far to quiet requiring you to max out mic volume making the mic pic up way to much background noise
