The Steelcase Think really does intuitively respond to the movement of my body to provide comfort. This chair is well designed and high quality. I really favor this chair over some more expensive competitive ergonomic chairs and here is why. The seat is flat. It is not contoured with hard plastic edges on the side and front. I have no issues with pressure on the side or bottom of my thighs or circulation in my legs like I do with competitor ergonomic chairs with plastic around the sides and front of the seat. The seat is wide and it does not feel constraining. It has a little flex on the front edge. Although good sitting posture is important, it does not force you to sit up straight in the same position all day like a robot. I change positions a lot between sitting wide, sitting narrow with feet crossed, sitting wide with a leg crossed on top the knee, sitting on one leg over the other, leaning forward, sitting on the front half, resting back, straight, and even leaning on one arm rest. Every position is comfortable. Other chairs do not allow these positions. I have no issues sliding forward like I do my gaming chair. It feels balanced and stable when leaning. The seat padding is firm. It is more comfortable than the mesh seat of my office ergonomic chair. It does not require a cushion, but since it is flat it seems like it can accommodate one more easily than a contoured seat. The back is firm and flexible. It allows for some flex and rock when locked. The lumbar support is decent. It is not comfortable when using an extra lumbar cushion. The arm rests are flat and extra firm. My elbows do not roll of the sides or front. They are sturdy, support weight, and do not pop out of adjustment. They a decent distance from the sides of my thighs which make this chair feel wide and unconstrained. I have 10 years of experience sitting on one of those expensive black ergonomic adjustable chairs at work for 8-10 hours a day. I would recommend this chair especially to those who are tall and move a lot during work.

I have lower back problems and was hoping this chair (for its price tag and description) will provide me with an ultimate sitting experience. While it is a nice chair but I don't get as much support in my lumber area as I need it (I am 120 pounds). I loved the fact it was all assembled and I am sure a big chunk of the price goes into packaging and shipping. Still, too expensive for what it has to offer. For these two reasons only 3 stars.

The chair is very well built, looks great in any space. The orange colour is very nice. The back of the chair is specially great, the amount of flex, the texture of the mesh, the live back system and lumbar support were very good, I wish it was just a couple inches taller. Settings dial is great as well, very easy to use and the way the chair responds to them is exactly how I like it, only missing detail here is a forward-tilt option, but I knew that before going in. My issues with the chair were more about sizing, the seat is quite wide so the armrests are far apart, and they also didn't come up enough to be in the right place to support my arms correctly, which made my shoulders hurt. Also felt I could use another half inch to lower the seat, because the shape/angle of it made me feel like my legs were hanging, when they were not. I wanted to like the chair more but ultimately had to return, I need to be comfortable for long hours, specially after paying this much for a chair, and sadly this wasn't the right one for me, but understand it may be right for many other people. Also, thanks to PureDesignOnline (vendor) for their help in handling a speedy and pain free return from their side, very professional and friendly.

Love my new chair, it is very comfortable. My old chair was causing leg pain from having to sit so long at my desk job. Leg pain is gone. Color was different from photo, I have the purple chair, color is brighter than pictured.

I sit in front of a computer 8 to 10 hours a day. No chair is going to be perfect, but this one is pretty close. I get up every half hour, but I still have sciatica pain from sitting. While other chairs aggravated it, this one has outperformed them all. Discomfort has been reduced by at least 80%. I am impressed by the quality, construction, and design. I love that this chair can be adjusted easily, which I find myself doing from time to time and that really helps. Looks great. Executive style without the big padded leather look (UGH). I'm an average sized female and this chair fits perfectly. Love the adjustable armrests. The only concern (why I didn't give it five stars) is the seat padding. It's moderate and I'm concerned that over time it may diminish. But for now, it's nearly perfect. Highly recommend this chair. Love that you can lean back and still have support. More money than I wanted to spend on a chair I didn't sit in before buying but took a gamble based on brand reputation. So far, I feel it was a better than average investment.

Honestly this is exactly what I wanted and the only issue I had was the delay in shipping due to a shortage of supplies. I would happily order from this store again. I only wish I was notified of the delay of shipping sooner rather than having to do the research myself.

This is a nice comfortable chair, which I always loved using at work. It has the adjustable arms for depth, height and width, I like it for this feature. I bought this for my home office during this COVID outbreak. There was more than 5 week lead time for delivery, it’s worth the wait. The product was just as described.
