This steamer was bought to replace my old one (Joy Mangano, My Little Steamer - Go Mini). Had my old one for over 5 years of on and off use, but sadly the plastic started to separate along the top so water dripped out and I needed a new one. This steamer does automatically start heating once it's plugged in to the power outlet (light flashes green). Then turns solid green when it's ready to be used. So far we've used it with thinner clothes so we just stay on the green power level. It has a wider head so steaming is quicker, compared to my old one. Showed my bf how to use it and he's done steaming a T-shirt within 5 mins compared to 12 minutes with our old one. It can be used like a more traditional clothing iron, just need to make sure the water container has enough water so the tube can reach the water when tilted. The cord is on the shorter side, but I have an extra extension cord on hand when needed so it's not too much of a problem for us. And be aware of the lock switch on the button to release steam; it doesn't take much effort to push down the lock on the button to continuously release steam. Loved this product but only 3 months in it has stopped working. I followed all directions and now it doesn’t produce steam at all and just makes a lazy clicking sound.

The media could not be loaded. I dont even own an iron, I never really learned the skill and don't really have the time. However, I have a few phtfits that come out of the dryer wrinkled and I wanted the clothes to look nicer! I've always thought steam cleaners were annoying and bulky but this one is handheld, lightweight and awesome. You can even use a 350ml drinking water bottle or the included 250ml large water tank. The steamers is compact, light and easy to use. It heats up in around 20 seconds and Comes with three different brushes. It gives me 30-min continuous working before running out of water.     • Only Regret Is Not Buying Sooner!
I’ve tried a few different at-home steamers over the years, and this one far surpasses them all. It doesn’t spit out all the water at once (my main complaint with other steamers) and it steams very effectively. I worked retail for years and have a lot of experience using the bigger hand steamers at those stores (with the large tank and then a tube up to the handheld steamer). This one is of course smaller than that, so I did find myself going back over the same area a few times for more stubborn wrinkles. And of course you have to refill the water more often. But honestly, that’s such a quick process and it heats back up so quickly, that I don’t mind having to take a minute to refill it. I truly wish I bought this sooner! So much easier and quicker than ironing. I’m now wearing a lot more of my closet, because I can quickly steam an item when I’m getting ready. Very happy with this steamer! ... show more
