Since the discs are silver, they look good under a shelf and you can set them to go on and off with a timer and remote. We used multiple sets to light product displays from under the edge of a shelf and they look great! Using the remote is easy and hands free. This is the 50% luminance mode and it’s pretty bright. I use these for my anime figures/gundam models, as well as under my cupboards in the kitchen. I’ve had them for about a month now and none have run out of batteries yet - you need 3 AAA batteries for each puck. This also has a timer (10min-2hours) and it helps me a ton since I’m very forgetful; and it comes with 2 remotes with the batteries included. I’d give the product 9/10 only because it’s not so bright in total darkness - i was hoping for a ceiling lamp or something but that’s on me. Overall, this comes close. Highly recommend. ... show more

To start off, the lights essentially went missing the moment they were shipped, so it took twice as long to arrive. The lights themselves not quite as bright as I was expecting, but they'll be fine. The remote? Useless. Does not work at all on the lights. If the remote needed to be synced to the light, or if there was something special that had to be done for it to work, there was no instructions in the box explaining that. Which makes it frustrating. I put a light at the very top of the stairs because at night that corner is so dark that you can't see where you're going. The remote was going to make it easier to have the lights turned on before reaching the steps, but that's just not working because, again, the remote is nothing more than a crappy paperweight. ... show more

I'm giving it 5 stars across the board because they are easy to use (they include little bumps so you know how to line them up...learned that too late). And they are bright. And they stick well. However, they drain batteries rather fast. I bought these sept 25 and on nov 9 I had to replace the batteries on 2 that died completely. All others are pretty dim right now but i was too lazy to change them. I guess it bugs me because I havent used them THAT much to warrant needing new batteries so soon. If they're going to be eating batteries that fast, I don't want them. Unfortunately it's too late to return em. And they're not cheap. My sister bought some at the 99c store that are way brighter, only use 2 batteries each and she has yet to change them. She bought 8 and got a better deal than me. Sooo, maybe look there before you buy here. They're not bad, they're just going to eat up a lot of batteries. In the picture, the one in the back needs new batteries and thats how it looks as its dying. The one in the front is at its brightest potential with new batteries. UPDATE: 12/23/2020: i have thrown these away. they already need new batteries and 2 had already died before that. these were a waste of money. what i needed them for they did not work. they cost a lot for what little they do. someone had asked if they come off easy....i put mine on wood and some of them left tape behind. it does not bug me because i cannot see it. im sure on some other surfaces you can take off whatever is left with some goo be gone....however you spell it. but honestly, i would go elsewhere and buy something else. im so bummed these didnt work out at all ... show more

Worked very well and bright the first few weeks and it’s now been 2 months and they seem a little bit dull compared to the first few weeks we had them. I still love them though and the look they give for the under cabinet area. I am thinking maybe it’s the batteries running low? I do have them on almost everyday. But overall I love them. Easy to use and set up, adhesive is very sticky and the remote system works great! FYI you’ll need to buy aaa batteries and I believe each one light takes 3 if I remember correctly.
