I had my concerns about how sturdy this server rack with based on how it's bolted together, and based on some YouTube videos reviewing this unit showing some sway. However, once I put mine together, the rack was absolutely sturdy with no flexing or looseness at all. The thing is built like a tank and the finishing on all the metal pieces is excellent. I saw a Q&A mentioning Rackstuds not being compatible. I had no issues myself putting a whole package of Rackstuds into the mounting holes. I used the original red-colored Rackstuds and they worked great and snapped into place easily. Perhaps this unit has been improved over an older version to be more compatible with rack mounting hardware. One note about the depth measurement. The instructions are unclear but give you numbers to go off of to achieve a desired mounting depth and what combination of numbers on the rails to use to set the depth to. The instructions didn't say which hole or if you go off of the edge of the rail. My first attempt came at the wrong depth because I used the edge, and found that you go based on the numbers viewed on the last viewing hole. Overall, this is an excellent equipment rack and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again ... show more

This is the 3rd rack I've purchased for my home lab. The other two I tried to buy as cheaply as possible, and both were disappointments. This one, while more expensive, screamed quality soon as I began to open the box. Even the included tools were of higher quality and added to my tool collection instead of tossed away. It holds up my servers well, and is perfectly sized for the 19" spaces. I love that it is on wheels but has the bolted feet that I can use to stabilize the rack once its in position. The top of the rack worked well for placing a smaller locking cabinet on it. All in all - I can't find anything to complain about! ... show more

I purchased this to house my home network equipment in my house. I felt it was a very reasonable price for the product I was receiving. I also liked that the depth was adjustable. I put the product together with no issues. While the instructions aren't exactly detailed, they are sufficient to be able to put it together if you have any experience putting such items together. When I initially put it together, I added extra length just as a precaution. Once I put it together, I found that I had added about five inches too much depth once everything was mounted in the rack. Five inches was a significant amount of space in the closet I'm using so I decided to adjust the depth without taking everything out. After removing bolts on the left and the right, I was able to shorten the depth of the rack without any problems. Love that it's on wheels and it appears to be a very high quality product. .. but I did not expected it to be that good. I was afraid that assembly will be complicated, but it wasn't, in a matter of fact it was exciting to assemble this one. Manufacturer recommends two people for assembly, but that is only if you want to share the excitement, otherwise one person can do it. Mine is 12U variant. I probably could have waited and got something similar second hand for a lot cheaper and really that is probably the smart play, but I didn't. However, the quality of the materials here are fantastic. My only complaint was that the assembly instructions were not great, but it's not hard to figure it out without using them. Since most racks are static and you can move the inner rails only it is hard to find one for very tight spaces. This server rack can expand and contract to accommodate what ever your rack depth requires. My packaging was great so they must have corrected that issue.
