Our dog is a very fast eater, and also very smart. He needs mental stimulation more than a typical dog, (border collie). This toy provides both. If we feed him in his normal "slow eating bowl" (the type that looks like a maze) he still eats in less than two minutes. This thing took him 15 minutes to get all of his dinner down. The only downside, which isn't the fault of the product, is that the food we give him, Purina One True Instinct with Turkey and Venison, has these bits that are bigger than the exit hole can handle. My two small dogs really like this! It's fun without being too difficult to get treats out of. My older dog gets frustrated if it's too hard to get treats out, but that hasn't been a problem with this toy. It seems pretty durable, especially because it's not meant to be a chew toy. It's too large for my dogs to chew on, so I can't really speak to how long it would last if you had a big dog who liked to chew it. I'm not sure how easy it will be to clean the inside, as I haven't figured out yet how to separate the bottom off (if that's even possible). The outside is very easy to clean though. ... show more

I, like a lot of other dog owners/lovers, Have bought many toys specifically aiming to keep my dog busy when I'm not around. This toy is absolutely awesome!!! I have 2 G.s.d.'s, 1 about 120 lbs & 1 about 60. They can chew like no body's business. My 60 lb. Female absolutely loves this toy. It's extremely affective & very well built. The only thing that would improve it is if the company would sell replacement "caps/covers" for the toy. It's a dog toy & I except it to get chewed and given a workout. My dogs a very, very heavy chewer & If I leave her alone too long once the treats are out and eaten she will focus on chewing the cap. It holds up a lot better than expected and it's more of letting her be alone for too long. It's far from defective, I don't want anyone to read this & get the wrong idea. I have a feeling if I contacted this company they would help me to get a separate cover. I just found it easier to buy another whole toy & I'm thrilled how it's performed. I.m.h.o. We have a large breed puppy who scarfs down his food in seconds and is an aggressive chewer. He absolutely loved this, but it only lasted two months before he had chewed through the yellow cap to the point it collapsed on itself. We did get hours and hours of play out of it, so I still think it was worth it! Just watch for weaknesses in the plastic so you can remove it from play before you end up with a vet bill! ... show more

Great toy to keep doggo busy for a little while. I like that it has the adjustable treat dispenser to make it either more challenging or accommodate different size treats. Its big enough she won't pick it up and try to carry it but she is still able to nose or bat it around with her paws. Good to keep them entertained for a while. My dog will carry this thing around in her mouth for hours! It is simple to use/set up with a top cap that unscrews where you place the treats or food, and then an adjustable opening where the treats/food comes out. It is like a weeble wobble that treats fall out of. My only disappointment is that it is not very difficult for the dog to get the treats to fall out. I expected some sort of maze or chamber inside to require the dog to manipulate the toy a few times before they were able to achieve getting the treat out. But don't try to take the toy from my dog...she will run off with this weighty thing in her mouth like it is a prize!
