I have had trouble with other pods getting crushed in my machine and not being able to be used. I suspect the quality of the pods was not up to par. Not so with these. They taste great and I have had no pod failures.

I really tend to prefer original Nespresso capsules for my Nespresso machine. These were not a bad alternative, but they’re definitely 1 shot. Typically, I buy a Nespresso capsule rated a 10 strength or above and brew a 5 oz, and a 3 oz off one capsule for a cappuccino in my 12 oz mug. These are so light that you really only get full taste in that first 5 oz shot. Anything else is too watered down. But if you’re looking for single capsule efficiency- these are good flavor. I'm a sucker for Starbucks but using these pods in my Nespresso Pixi has allowed me to make my own drinks and save a ton of money. I'm sensitive to caffeine so I was so happy to find decaf. Tastes great.

At first blush, the price per capsule seems attractive compared with Nespresso boutique capsules. And I acknowledge that some people have come to like the overburnt flavor of Starbucks. The main issue is that the capsules arrived pretty banged up. Probably one in four was dented in some way. When the rims are bent, you can generally straighten them out a they will run ok. But as Nespresso users know, even a small dent on the bottom can make the capsule unusable. The number of unusable capsules pretty much eliminated any cost saving. And while this is personal taste, Nespresso is not only better quality but has such a broad array of options (vs Starbucks' three) that you can probably find one to fit any taste. ... show more
