Nothing tricky here. It's a collection of different coffees in kcup pods at an incredible price. If you're using a kcup maker, you've already decided to sacrifice a little bit of taste for convenience. This allows you to have several different brands on hand without spending a fortune, or like I did, buying a box and discovering at home that it's decaf. That will be with me for a long long time. Some flavors are great - Dark Magic, love you. Some, long hard side-eye at you Butter Toffee thing, make you appreciate the other coffees a bit more. Massive kudos to Amazon's packing department. The box used to ship these to me, doubles as the general container box. Thank you for not wasting cardboard/trees. To further assuage your environmental guilt, after using the kcup, empty the coffee out and with a little bit of soil, these make great seedling/succulent starter pots. If you're artistic, make em pretty first - or give the kids an arts/crafts project to get them off the FaceTweetGram for a couple of minutes. ... show more

We have several coffee drinkers in the house and we like to mix it up. This set really has a nice mix of bold, smooth and flavored coffees. The Laughing Man, Coffee Shop and Newman’s own are stronger flavored, but the LM is the smoothest of the bunch. The Kahlúa, Gloria Jean’s and Cinnabon check the flavored box, if that’s your thing. Green Mountain doesn’t seem to make anything bad. In fact, the Dark Magic is one that I keep on hand at all times, as is Tully’s Hawaiian. The REVV was one I’ve not heard of, but is a tasty medium roast that I’ll most likely purchase separately at some point. Overall, there’s a full spectrum of styles and something to suit just about everyone’s taste. The price per cup at $.70 is a touch higher than most, BUT you get a better variety and quality brands. With that in mind, it’s still less than what you’d pay in stores, where it’s rarely below $.75/pod. ... show more

If you want a selection of coffees to decide what you do and don't like, this is a great choice. The mixture of coffees will give you a good idea of what you might want to go out and make your daily brew(s). I have always found ones that I like (medium roasts) along with those my wife does (she prefers the stronger brews). My only two complaints are i) price (at $0.63 per) it can get expensive if there are a lot of coffee drinkers in the house; and ii) too many dark, strong roasts (at least in my last two boxes). This is a great sample pack to try out the different coffee pod flavors. I didn't love all of the different brands because some were too strong, and others tasted like older, weaker-tasting coffee brands that reminded me of the kind my grandmother would make in the morning, but I found some that I loved. My only complaint is that I think 30 pods would have done the trick. If you are looking to sample other coffee pod flavors this is the way to go. ... show more
