I rated each and every capsule down to the last one! Before you read my ratings it's important to note that different people enjoy different flavors of coffee. This is just according to my personal tastes! I like to drink coffee black to get the full flavor of the coffee alone so obviously if you mix it with cream, milk, sugar or other added flavorings it will taste a lot different. Now... MY RATINGS (listed from best to worst): 1. Laughing man - Dukale’s Blend medium roast: Probably the best medium roast coffee I’ve ever had. 2. Green Mountain - Colombian Select Medium Roast: Another really good medium roast here. 3. Caribou - Caribou Blend: Delicious. These guys apparently just make good coffee :) 4. Caribou - Daybreak: Delicious. 5. Rev - No Surrender: Very Good! 6. Tully’s - Italian Roast: Pretty good. 7. Gloria Jeans Hazlenut: Don’t normally like flavored coffees but this one is pretty good! Watch out though, I got a little bit of heartburn/indigestion from drinking this one. 8. Newman’s Own - Special Blend Medium Roast: Good but not as good as the above medium roasts. 9. Newman’s French Roast: Pretty good. 10. Donut Shop - Regular: This one’s actually better than I expected. Not bad at all. 11. Donut Shop - Dark: Also not bad! Way to go Donut shop. 12. Cinnabon - Classic Cinnamon Roll: Again, don’t normally do a lot of flavored coffees but this one was decent! 13. Green Mountain Medium Blend: Tastes ok. 14. Tully’s Hawaiian blend: Ok. 15. Gloria Jean’s - Butter Toffee: I guess it’s not horrible, it’s just not my kind of coffee. 16. Green Mountain Coffee, Dark Magic: Getting into the just ok but not so great ones. 17. Laughing man - Colombia Huila Dark Roast: Meh. Didn’t really care for this one. 18. Laughing Man Dark Roast: Ok but not the greatest. 19. Krispy Kreme Smooth: Now getting into the just bad ones. I always used to think their in-store coffee was just old but nope, it apparently comes pre-olded… It just taste like old coffee. 20. Kahlua Original - Light Roast: I personally think this one is disgusting. It might even be the worst coffee I've ever had. I couldn’t drink more than a couple of sips before throwing the rest out (I tried both capsules just in case). It just tastes like maple syrup… like drinking straight up liquid syrup out of a bottle. If you absolutely LOVE pancake syrup then you might be able to stomach this one. Otherwise… avoid. Thanks to this Variety pack, I now know which ones I'm ordering next! I'm ordering the top 5 in this list so that I'll still have some variety from day to day but It'll just be the good ones :) LOVED the adventure of this variety pack though! It's well worth the money (maybe except for that nasty Kahlua one) and it'll give you a ton of variety from day to day/morning to morning! Before this I was just trying K-cups 1-by-1 but it was taking forever and if I didn't like one... welp... I was stuck with it till I ran out. So yeah, this variety back was amazing :) Also worth noting that mine came with exactly 2 of each. I see other reviews on here saying that some were missing or mixed up. Maybe they've gotten better at quality control? Either that or I was just lucky. Anyway, hope this is helpful to someone else out there!

This 40-pack of Keurig coffee cups is super convenient and a great value. The variety is nice, so there’s something for every coffee mood—whether I want something bold or a bit smoother. Each pod brews consistently and tastes fresh without any issues with compatibility in my machine. It’s perfect for stocking up so I don’t run out quickly. Definitely makes mornings easier and more enjoyable!

As a Keurig newbie I wanted to sample a good variety and gauge both the difference between drip brew and french press, and the variety of coffees out there. Please keep in mind I tend to prefer medium roasts, and while I'm not a coffee snob in the slightest I do know the difference between a good cup and garbage, and totally appreciate the differences in roasts, brewing, and even the beans themselves. Most of these were sweetened as per my usual method of milk with chocolate and/or caramel sauce. I was also experimenting with creamers (and rated those as well in another review). All of these were brewed with 8oz of water in my Keurig K-Slim Coffee Maker: Green Mountain Breakfast Blend _____________ ★★☆☆☆ Watery, and not much flavor. Green Mountain Dark Magic _________________ ★★★☆☆ Sharp flavor, but overall pretty weak. Green Mountain Colombian Fair Trade Select ___ ★★★☆☆ Average but nothing special. Decent; unremarkable. Green Mountain Nantucket Blend _____________ ★★★★☆ Delicately flavorful, richly aromatic; delicious! Donut Shop Regular _______________________ ★★☆☆☆ Watery, very little flavor. Donut Shop Dark __________________________ ★★☆☆☆ Very watery. Almost no coffee flavor here at all. Caribou Coffee Caribou Blend ________________ ★★★☆☆ Better than their Daybreak Blend. Good aroma, but ho-hum overall. Caribou Coffee Daybreak Morning Blend ________ ★★☆☆☆ Weak and watery, nothing here stands out. Gloria Jean's Butter Toffee _____________________ ★★★★☆ Not into flavored coffee. That said, not bad! My friend tried it and really loved it, and she's also not into flavored coffees (bagged or otherwise). Gloria Jean's Hazelnut _________________________ ★★★☆☆ I don't like hazelnut flavors, but this was actually really good. Weak, but tasty. Tully's Italian Roast ________________________ ★★★☆☆ Good flavor, but a little too weak. Tully's Hawaiian Blend _____________________ ★★★☆☆ Merely okay. Newman's Own Special Blend ________________ ★★★★☆ A great medium roast, rich and flavorful! Newman's Own French Roast _________________ ★★★★☆ Strong and smokey, but very smooth. Laughing Man Columbia Hula ________________ ★★★☆☆ A fine medium with just a little bite despite overall wateriness. Laughing Man Ethiopia Sidama ______________ ★★★☆☆ Modestly flavorful, could be a bit stronger. Good tasting overall. Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll ______________ ★★★☆☆ Like the creamer, this was weak but inoffensive. Sweet aroma, lacks flavor. Krispy Kreme Classic Medium Roast ___________ ★★★☆☆ Not bad. Flavor was robust without being overly strong. REVV No Surrender ________________________ ★★☆☆☆ Sharp dark roast, highly acidic taste. Overpowering. Kahlua Original ____________________________ ★★☆☆☆ Artificial and chemical tasting. Not enjoyable. I would recommend this collection to anyone else looking to test the waters and see for themselves what they like. I've obviously found some new favorite flavors, and while I wasn't too surprised at how good Newman's Own tastes (they make a lot of great food products) Green Mountain and Gloria Jean really surprised me as well. Really, it is all about personal preference, my very dear friend and I tried a few of these, and she and I have different likes based on our own pallets, but we were generally in agreement on a few of these she tried as well. I would not be picking this one up again for myself, but for newcomers or folks that live with others with different tastes this is a great array of choices. Like me, you might just discover a new favorite in there as well.

The beginning of this review is for the DECAFFEINATED pack, which has 22 K-Cups, but have included information on a the COFFEE LOVERS variety pack as well as the BOLD LOVERS variety pack. I have tried them all! The DECAFF variety pack has four selections to chose from: -6 cups Dark Magic -6 cups Breakfast Blend -6 Newmans Own Special -4 Vermont Country I have had the Dark Magic (as both regular and decaff), which is a dark coffee, and the DECAFF tastes SO MUCH like the regular that it makes me DOUBLE CHECK the k-cup each time to make sure I indeed brewed a decaff. Crazy! Very bold, dark, delicious. Same goes for the Vermont Country. I would not know it was decaff unless I looked at the packaging. I am not a huge fan of Newmans Own Special anyway, so as a decaff it is equally ho-hum. Vermont Country and Newmans Own are medium roasts, but Vermont has a stronger, bolder flavor. Breakfast blend is good enough; it is a light roast, and light roasts are my least favorite. The first two are my favorite though. The options offered in this box is nice especially if you have more than one decaff drinker in the house, or you are trying to figure out which kind you like. It is a good mix for that purpose. I liked having opportunity to try a few extra types of decaff K-cups. I will likely continue with just buying the Dark Magic as that is as special tasting as their regular caffeinated K-cup. I drink regular coffee to get me though the day, but sometimes I still want coffee but it is getting too late in the day or I have already had too much. Keeping decaffeintated k-cups on hand allows me to enjoy the ritual of a cup of coffee without the expense of poor sleep. Or I can use it as a base for a hot beverage with alcohol in it (usually some sort of Irish Creme). The DARK MAGIC and the VERMONT COUNTRY hold up their strong coffee flavor with addition of cream or booze. Great black, too. If you like a lighter, more tangy flavor profile then the Newmans Own or Breakfast blend will suit you. What I like most about these DECAFF options is that they don't taste watered down. Some decaff just tastes like a lesser version of the original. Trust that the DARK MAGIC and VERMONT COUNTRY taste like regular strong coffee. Yum! Now, the decaff box was a VINE item for me. I had already purchased the COFFEE LOVERS as well as the BOLD LOVERS, and had written a combined review under verified purchase. Since all these varieties are lumped under one, I could not write my Vine until I deleted my Verified :( BUT, I am still including the information from those on here, so you can read through the few variety packs I have enjoyed so far. The following review is for the box of the "COFFEE LOVERS" mixed variety pack (I then came back to purchase the BOLD roast lovers variety pack, and I added a note about that at the end). So.. Not too shabby of a selection. I prefer bold, dark coffee and my husband prefers medium to light roasts. I don't mind medium so long as it has a robust flavor. I almost never do light nor flavored. This pack seemed like a worthwhile mix. I am already a big fan of Dark Magic. All the darks were good and bold, some stronger than others. I have had a few of the medium- all good, especially the Krispy Kreme Classic. Nice middle of road coffee with decent flavor. I won't touch the light. As for flavored- not really my thing, but I don't mind one on occasion or mixed with regular. Or offered to guests. LOL. Truly though, this is a nice mix. It got me to try some brands that I haven't before and to try some roasts that I may not have considered before. I think it would make a nice gift, or just simply for something different to try. I included pics of each grouping for the more visual among us :) (edit: currently photo loader is down, and I will have to come back to include pics. However, if I don't the product description does have good pic of what is included in these variety packs) I counted 40 K-cups, then I grouped them based on roast: Dark, Medium, Light, and "flavored". DARK. There are six types of DARK, 2 each, for total of 12 dark roast K-Cups --Revv No Surrender --Tullys Italian Roast --Donut Shop Dark --Green Mountain Dark Magic --Newmans Own French Roast --Laughing Man Columbia Huila MEDIUM. There are eight types of MEDIUM, 2 each, for total of 16 medium roast K-Cups --Green Mountain Nantucket --Krispy Kreme Classic --Laughing Man Cuckales blend --Green Mountain Single Origin Columbia Select --Tullys Hawaiian blend --Caribou Caribou --Donut Shop --Newmans Own Special Blend LIGHT. There are two types of LIGHT, 2 each, for total of 4 light roast K-Cups --Caribou Daybreak --Green Mountain Breakfast Blend FLAVORED. There are four types of FLAVORED, 2 each for total of 8 flavored K-Cups --Kaluha Original (light) --Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll --Gloria Jeans Butter Toffee --Gloria Jeans Hazelnut ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The COFFEE LOVERS mix was my first ever variety pack, and I enjoyed it so much that I came back for the BOLD LOVERS variety pack. That one is GREAT! If you like bold coffee, this one offers a wide mix of DARK and bold MEDIUM roast k-cups. The mediums are on the darker end of the spectrum and definitely bold. I have been enjoying ALL the cups in this mix. I have met a few new "favorites". I have been having fun with both of these variety packs. The K-cups are loose in a box and I just reach in and surprise myself. This BOLD LOVERS is the best for my preferences, and the COFFEE LOVERS mix is great for finding something for anyone who wants a cup of coffee. I keep buying the BOLD LOVERS, and now I may or may not add in the DECAFF variety mix on occasion (all are good, I just prefer two so greatly of the four, that I would be more inclined to just buy a box of the ones I like most). As for any of the coffees tried in these variety packs, I tend to only buy a couple of types, so this has been a VERY nice way to try all sorts of different ones. I have learned about some options I never would have thought to try, and these have been a real treat. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these mixed boxes. NICE JOB!! ___________________________ In addition to the many K-cups I have tried here and the multiple boxes I have gone through.. I have not had a single issue with brewing. EACH AND EVERY cup has brewed perfectly and tasted fresh. When I receive a new box, I count the K-cups to make sure I have the amount stated. So far, I have always received the correct amount.

I bought this because I thought it would be a good sampler of K-Cup Pods. It was except ... about 25% of it was filled with the worst and cheapest coffee pods you could imagine. Artificial flavors, cinnamon rolls, hazelnut ... I had to throw a quarter of it out. This does have some decent brands (Starbucks, Don Francisco) but just be aware they pad it with a lot of crappy quality pods. I would not recommend this to any "Coffee Lover" and I would never buy this again.
