Description

CONTENTS: STORMIO: A rich & strong coffee blend. Intensity 8. Smooth, rich cereal notes are brought to the fore by Guatemalan washed Arabica, which are then blended with Nicaraguan beans to create a strong, distinct flavor. tormio is mainly comprised of dark and long roasted beans, which help to develop its intensity, both in terms of body as well as singular notes. A long prewetting and high temperature allow to express the spicy and woody notes of Stormio. ODACIO: A long bold & lively coffee blend. Intensity 7. An audacious blend of fine Arabicas from Nicaragua and Ethiopia, Odacio is a full-bodied coffee with cereal notes accented by a slight East African fruitiness. Adding milk softens the flavor, bringing dairy, sweet notes. Fusing the flavors of two different continents, this blend of fine Arabica beans from Central America and East Africa serve up contrasting, yet complementary tastes in Odacio. MELOZIO: A smooth & balanced coffee blend. Intensity 6. Fine quality Brazilian Bourbon and Central American Arabicas are lightly roasted to create a rounded coffee that is smooth and perfectly balanced. Adding milk opens up the softer, sweeter sides of the coffee, enhancing the biscuity notes. Central American Arabica coffee delivers balance and a harmonious character to Melozio, which is enhanced by the sweet, honey notes of fine Brazilian Bourbon coffee beans. Thanks to the split-roasting, the fine Brazilian Bourbon beans reveal flavors rich in sweet cereal notes, giving a sensuous, smooth texture. The soft character and balance is achieved through the second split of Central American Arabicas. The fast flow and high temperature ensure a roundness of flavor, which is typical in blending lightly roasted Bourbon and Central American Arabicas.

I keep buying this Nespresso Vertuo Variety Pack for a reason. The coffee tastes really good, smells amazing when brewing, and gives me a nice strong cup without tasting burnt or bitter. I like that it comes with different flavors so I’m not drinking the same thing every morning. The pods work perfectly with my Vertuo machine and the crema on top makes it feel like coffee from a coffee shop at home. Stormio is definitely the stronger one, Melozio is smoother, and Odacio is right in the middle for me. I also like that these make full-size cups instead of tiny little coffees. Super convenient in the morning when I need coffee fast before work. Overall, definitely worth buying if you own a Vertuo machine. This is our favorite variety pack. We’ve reordered multiple times at this point, & we’ve been happy with the variety, flavor, & convenience. Melozio is my personal favorite. Stormio & Odacio are a little stronger & darker, & a favorite of my in-laws when they visit. I find that they are smooth in a latte or Americano, while the Melozio drinks more like a typical cup of coffee. The pods work great in our Vertuo machine & produce a rich, foamy cup. I bought this 30-count Vertuo variety pack for a coffee get-together at my house, and it covered most tastes at the table. Pods fit my Nespresso machine perfectly... no dents, no issues. Melozio was the group favorite. Odacio was the least popular. I only brewed regular hot coffee with cream and sugar. I didn't try using these pods for iced coffee. I recommend these pods for three main reasons: 1. Good variety 2. Cheaper than buying from main website (no shipping fee) 3. Official Nespresso pods Why 4 stars, not 5: The pack has one medium roast and two dark roasts. I'd have liked a true light roast in the mix, since some of my guests prefer a lighter cup. A light/medium/dark spread would be ideal. Pro Tip: Check Amazon Resale before buying. Pods nearing their expiration date sometimes sell for $5–$10 off. ... show more
