Description

A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a new 3rd person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively- driven single player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities, and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors. While mastering your abilities, players will engage in cinematically-charged lightsaber and Force combat designed to deliver the kind of intense Star Wars lightsaber battles as seen in the films. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path. Star Wars fans will recognize iconic locations, weapons, gear, and enemies while also meeting a roster of fresh characters, locations, creatures, droids and adversaries new to Star Wars. As part of this authentic Star Wars story, fans will delve into a galaxy recently seized by the Empire. Amazing gameplay. I’ve played all of the Star Wars games besides Battlefront. On original Xbox as well as Xbox one and KOTOR on PC. I will tell you I did not like Force Unleashed at all and was skeptical this would be close to FU. However, this game has a Star Wars, Zelda and Darksiders fell all rolled into one. I finished the game in 4 days as it is so addictive you don’t want to stop playing. This game may be a little difficult for younger kids with the some of the puzzle type parts of the game, but the gameplay on story mode should not be difficult to beat. I played story mode and it felt just as it should being a Jedi slaying storm troopers. I am really impressed and hoping there is a DLC or a sequel. The only problem is I did not get my preorder bonus from amazon until after I had already completed the game. ... show more

I preordered this game in April and was expecting to get what I had paid for. However when I received the game, I found that the content I received was as if I had purchased the Deluxe Edition only. I know it's a minor inconvenience, but I spent the last few months building up my excitement to only be let down. The game is great though. I just wish I had the content I paid for. EDIT: I contacted Amazon customer service and they were very helpful. I talked to the representative about my issue with the pre-order bonus and within a few hours I received an email containing the code for the bonus content. I added the last two stars for the great customer service and the bonus content. ... show more

Best part about this game was that it was a compelling story that fit within the canon. Customization of the lightsaber included 10-20 options for each of the five components. This is why NOT getting the pre-order content from Amazon until the game was finished was such a huge let-down. Shame! *rings bell* Otherwise, a great title reminiscent of Assassin's Creed in terms of game play. Button-mashing aside, the puzzles are thought-provoking and the open world nature gives this an easy edge over Force Unleashed. And the Level design?? WOW! I actually watched the credits to see who the team was. Incredible. Normally you don't notice level design unless it's terrible. UPDATE: I initially gave this game a 2 Star review because of the missing preorder code. The game itself I love! Amazon within a week finally figured out the issue and sent out the preorder code. I did have to contact them first to get it even though I had already purchased it. ——————- First, the game is awesome but I’m pretty annoyed that I can’t get access to my preorder content so the rating was for buying it through Amazon. I tried not to read too much about the reviews about the game from the Beta testers, because I knew from the stills that this was not going to be the same type of Star Wars game. And I was not disappointed. Between the easy beginning tutorials and in-game secrets that are fun to find, the whole story has been amazing to watch and learn while experiencing the Star Wars universe from the eyes of a Padawan who has to learn what the Force is and balance how the universe works around it. ... show more

Good game with graphics. If you're a SW fan, don't bother with research. Just buy it, and don't forget the deluxe edition. Edit: I see a lot of impatient people complaining about not getting their pre-order bonuses. I just got the code earlier via email. It’s not a “rip-off” or whatever. Amazon usually takes a few days sending in the codes, I’ve preordered here multiple times. Never had an issue, you just have to wait. Not everything is handed like a binky to you. ... show more
