    • A great sander overall would buy again
Overall the sander is a top notch tool in every way. The Pro's I like about sander is that it has no vibration at all in your hand and you can use it for hours. also I like the quick stop feature, as soon as you shut it off it stops rotating which I like a lot The smoothness of sanding is super good and you could not ask for anything better. Also I found the dust collection on this sander to be top notch, there is nothing like it on the market as far as I know. very good A+ Overall I am really impressed with the sander. It would be a buy again. The only Con"s I have are holding on to the head of the sander or handle so to say, I find it was a bit cumbersome and I found myself tilting the sander on an angle a bit while sanding but that just may be me due to me being use to a Home Depot Ridged sander. Also I found that this sander does not seem to remove as much material as a normal orbital sander but you do get a really great finish on your material. Over all a really good sander for the money.     • Yep, it's worth the money.
I know it is expensive but pair this with a CT mini or mini and it is a game changer. Little to no vibration, works great, and dust collection is the best I've seen. Worth the money for sure.

    • Excellent sander
I didn't want to spend the money to go Festool, but after having it for a bit now I can really say I understand why people love these sanders. They sand fairly quickly and really reduce the vibration compared to the less expensive sander I own. The amount of dust that is able to be pulled when using it with a shop vac is great as well. I really like having the systainer to keep it contained when not in use as well. I am sure if I had a dust extractor instead of a shop vac it would be even nicer. ... show more

    • Unbelievable Performance
I was looking for a sander that would not bog down under heavy pressure when using 40 grit sandpaper and all I can say is WOW!!!!, this is the one. I hooked it up to my dust collector and the sander performed like a champ. I also bought the Festool sandpaper to match the hole pattern for the vac holes on the sander, and it worked extremely well. I have been a tool guy my whole life and I really appreciate great tools. This is definitely in that category. I realize that for some, the price may be higher than one might want to spend, however, if you have a tough sanding job or a lot of sanding to do, the money spent on this sander is well worth it. This was my entry into festool and was worth it. Seriously I look forward to sanding. The quality on this tool is like nothing I've ever experienced. I see how people praise this brand. Festool is expensive but worth the price of admission. Warranty covers wear and tear!! This tool will stand up to the job and festool stands behind their products.     • Expensive for a RO sander
I was reluctant to spend so much for a RO sander but my old sander was really bothering my hand. Bought this sander because of the advertised less vibration. On the first use it seemed to have solved my hand problem.
