Description

Rust Stain Remover is the best way to eliminate unsightly rust stains from boats, RVs, exterior walls of homes or wherever else they may form. The formula begins working on contact, dissolving the oxidation that causes these stains. Easy to use; spray directly onto stained area and rinse off; no heavy scrubbing needed. DIRECTIONS: Spray Star brite Rust Stain Remover directly on surface to be treated. Let product work until stain is gone before rinsing area with fresh water. Deep stains may require a second application and light scrubbing with a brush or cloth. To help prevent future rust stains, apply a protective coating of Star brite Polish to cleaned area to seal surface pores. Avoid contact with fabric. Test area to be cleaned for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before proceeding with overall cleaning.

This spray is practically miraculous. I’ve had hard water iron stains on one side of my car from our lawn sprinklers for a couple years and have tried many things that requires elbow grease to use and nothing worked. I was about to resort to expensive detailing but then found this product in my research. I literally sprayed it on, waited a few minutes, rinsed, then sprayed, waited and lightly wiped then rinsed and the stains AND black scuff marks I’ve accumulated are GONE. So easy! And while I waited for it to work on my car I quick sprayed my nearby PVC fence that was also sprinkler stained and didn’t have to wipe at all. One spray and rinse for most fence stains then another round of spray and rinse to remove any remaining rust stains. No wiping! Bought this to use as a tool cleaner and it does a great job of removing rust however it dulls the shine on metal. The 1st picture is a before applying the stain remover and the 2nd picture is after. Notice how dull the metal becomes after applying the stain remover. The 3rd picture is me using brasso, a metal polisher and it does return some of the shine back on the tool but not completely. I also used WD 40 to repel water so it doest start to rust again. the instructions say to rinse with fresh water after 1 minute of applying the rust remover. The 4th picture is me using it on a black coated tool. It also removes the black finish on the tool. I would reccomend this stain remover on stainless steel or bare metal tools since it does do a good job of removing rust however on any coated tool i would not use this. ... show more

I own a 380 Sea Ray that had bad brown stains down the side of boat from the water cooled AC units. I had tried numerous cleaners, wax, rubbing compound etc with zero results. While the product worked really well at removing the rust stains but when I rinsed it, the products dripped down the hull of the boat and turned my bottom paint a greenish color and would not come off. I read the bottle and it said safe for paint so I am not sure what the issue is. Has this ever been an issue? ... show more
