I’ve been really liking this retinol gel. Cocokind as a brand already makes me feel good because their formulas are clean and gentle, and this one is honestly perfect if you’re new to retinol or have sensitive skin. It doesn’t sting or make my face red, and it hasn’t dried me out the way other retinols have in the past. The texture is nice and smooth, and it layers well with the rest of my nighttime routine. I’ve been easing into it every other night like they recommend, and my skin has been handling it really well. It’s helped even out my texture and just makes everything look a little more glowy in the morning. If you want something beginner friendly that still feels like it’s doing something without wrecking your skin barrier, this is a great option.

My first retinol product. Gentle for beginners. I’m on my second tube right now. Does cause dryness and flaking near the mouth as that’s a sensitive area but that’s common for most retinol products. I use a milky toner before using this retinol and follow up with a heavy moisturizer after the retinol to make sure my skin is moisturized. It doesn’t have a strong smell. I think it’s good for the price and good quality. Got it after seeing a dermatologist recommend it on YouTube for beginner retinol users (Dr. Idriss)

Absolutely love this stuff. Actually magic in a tube. With just a couple uses, I feel the texture of my skin has definitely improved. It is non-scented which is great for people with sensitive skin like myself. I tried Differin in the past and it wrecked my face for months. This is very effective and gentle on the skin. The ingredients help calm the skin while also clearing and gently exfoliating it. This is one of the best “drugstore” retinols I’ve discovered and it is definitely worth every cent. The packaging is small, sturdy, and simple which I appreciate so I can travel with it too.
