When I assembled, one of the screws to the burner did not line up perfectly. I fire up this cast iron stove ms place a chimney full of charcoal on it for 60 seconds and then turn the gas off. My favorite way to light charcoal. I also fry French fries in a 6 quart Dutch oven. It gets oil to 350 degrees in about 10 minutes and maintains temp Perfectly! The flame adjustment is either a little wonkie or I don’t know what I am doing.

The media could not be loaded. Off the top it’s not top quality cast iron and you can see it. I put this together today and tested it. It seemed to catch some wind, so I moved it closer to my garage. top,once I put my cast iron griddle plate, it wasn’t nearly as big of an issue. I came here to see what people did about that and there are no reviews, lol I normally don’t buy things with no reviews. I think I might come up as a “Vine Voice” although I haven’t messed with that since last year. So rest assured I bought and paid for this item, lol. Assembling was fairly easy I did use a Phillips head screwdriver and a small socket (can’t remember the size but I used my 1/4 ratchet) once again it’s not top quality, not the best fit but it all went together just fine, the instructions aren’t the greatest but I assembled the hose to the burners without tape or dope. There is a rubber seal inside, I got it good and hand tight and tighten it just a tad more with a crescent wrench. This is cast iron so once it gets going, the while thing gets hot those bolt you use to fine tune your flame get hot, one is hard to reach so tune that in before you start cooking. I did Oklahoma smash burgers and asparagus, for the first run and this runs hot. I bought it mostly for boiling and deep frying outside as a complement to a Blackstone 1984 I bought off Amazon also this past weekend. I think it’s going to work well for that because it’s hard to control the heat on this griddle pan in the pics. Even at the lowest I could get it with both burners on it was like 575-650F, I ended up running just one burner so as not to burn everything. I will see if I can adjust it lower and I will update this review on the longer term results. But since there were no reviews, I thought I would give it a day one. * I have knocked off a star it's a little too hot for what they are selling it for, I didn't notice at first but in the first pic in the top center you can see the cast iron griddle is cracked, this thing cracked my griddle yall. I'm going to say this too hot for a camp stove, even at the lowest setting and only one burner it's still about 450F, I'm sure it will make a nice fryer burner.

This burner is awesome and powerful but it cannot really be set to a low flame so its best used with large pots of food like chili or stew. Trying to cook smaller meals led to a lot of sticking due to too high heat.

The base is fine, but like all cheap Chinese propane burners, the burner on this unit concentrates all its heat in a small area. That's fine if all you want to do is boil water, but is lousy for even heating of a 12" skillet or griddle. Burners that evenly distribute heat for predictable frying are only found on units costing upwards of $100 or more. What to do? The solution involves a 1/8" drill bit and #6 x 3/8" sheet metal screws. Simply drill out some jets and screw in the screws to plug them. Then, drill holes in the burner sides to project some heat toward the outer edges. Now you have a custom burner that will be a pleasure to cook on. Pan still not evenly heating? No problem, just add or remove screws to get it right. Note: be sure any side jets you drilled ignite when you light the stove.

Simple to assemble. Test for leakage and ready to fire it up. Works great with 15,00 BTU of heat. Used my large cast iron skillet 3 times and also my Dutch oven twice. I got it for 51% off. Can't beat that deal.

I ordered this burner to take the place the single burner electric burners I have been using to provide hot water in cleaning tanks in our machine shop. I’ve been impressed with how much quicker the water reaches the 160 degree Fahrenheit we need to rinse the coolant off the CNC machined stainless parts we make. I plant to order more.
