I love these for several reasons. First of all, it’s a great quality wood, nice and solid. Second, it’s a good looking wood. I think the oil finish could be better, but not really complaining. But most of all the ease of putting it together. The video was great and it’s such an easy assembly. Very well made and super easy to assemble. I am using this to raise my 49” ultrawide monitor. I wanted something like this so it works as monitor stand and also a cabinet where I can store stuff and have easy access. So I needed something that is sturdy enough to hold a heavy monitor and also act as a desktop storage. After a long search, I found this and I asked the seller how much it can hold and was told 300 lb. That was more than enough for me. When I received it, it was so light, I didn’t think it can hold a 35 lb monitor. I still had to give it a try. I hate reading reviews where they say “ oh it was so easy it took me only 30 minutes” but when I build it, it takes more than an hour. I’m pretty handy with stuff so I hate it when people exaggerate. But this, LOL trust me, it took me 20 minutes to build. Not going fast at all. I was watching the instruction video and following it and was taking my time. All you need is a hammer, which they include! If you are not handy, it’ll take you 30 minutes… Once I was done building, the feel of it, even though it’s light, it was very, very sturdy. I’m not going to test 300lb but but my monitor and laptop (on top of the monitor legs) is sitting on it like a feather. I 100% recommend! ... show more

Previously bought the large (19") set of 3 and really liked them, and wanted to add the medium (11.75") and small (7.75") size. Sturdy, good build quality although the wood dents easily, and easy to assemble. Was hoping to stack the medium and small on top of the large but the metal pins that hold them in place don't line up. Even using 1 pin to hold the medium and 1 for the small, the front of the boxes don't line. Still stackable, but nothing to prevent them from sliding around. ... show more

Bought two. I didn't realize that I would be spending a long time trying to put them together. Never quite got it right but came close. They really didn't need a lids in my kitchen, so it's okay. Well its not user error when both side holes are improperly drilled. Theres no way its fitting back into the box for a return. Not thrilled with the way it looks but im pretty sure sawing them down would compromise the stability/strength.

These are wonderful! We ordered the stack of three and my husband had easy assembly of it, even a small mallet was included. They look sturdy and well made. We are both quite impressed. The size is generous. Easily stores folded clothes, could envision it full of yarn or toys or pantry items, cleaning items, etc I'd say they could be used for garage storage, and they definitely could, but that would be sad to me. They are quite beautiful and could most definitely shine in most rooms. ... show more

The kit comes with everything you need including a plastic mallet. I found the directions overall easy. I bought two. By the time I assembled the second one, I felt like a pro. The unit is sturdy and attractive.
