I looked for hours trying to find baskets or hampers with a lid that I could use for the top of my laundry machines. My wife has the habit of leaving clean clothes on the top of the washer and dryer that she’ll put away later… WAY later. I was tired of the constant eye sore and wanted something to make our laundry room more organized. These worked perfectly! There are hundreds if not thousands of hampers, baskets, and bins that may fit on the top of laundry machines. However, finding ones that are short and wide are a little harder. And finding ones that size with a lid makes the task extremely difficult. And an attached lid, forget about it! After almost giving up, I found these and I never looked back. Now, the measurements aren’t perfect. I wish they were just a little wider, and just a little deeper, but they are the perfect height for me. I needed baskets that wouldn’t be over 12” high so they wouldn’t block my shelf in the back. If you are interested in doing something like this, it’s possible the larger size might work for you. Measure and find out. But for me I chose the small/medium size basically because of the height. Having an attached lid is amazing and makes them even nicer. It’s super easy to open and they’ll never get misplaced. And they constantly ensure the mess is hidden. One of them does have slight alignment issues as other reviewers have mentioned, but it’s not enough to make me want to return them. I do wish they were a little higher quality in regards to materials and build quality. A more heavy duty version would be ideal. I actually don’t like the fact that they are foldable, because I think that makes them more flimsy, but other people may see that as a plus. I’d probably give them 3-4 stars for quality, but I gave it a 5 overall because they were pretty much the only solution I could find and they work so well. I saw a bunch of videos of people making bikini boxes but I wanted something bigger since I have so many bikinis. This is so beachy looking and exactly what I wanted. It’s really sturdy as well you can put stuff on top if you wanted.
