I absolutely love this St. Tropez self tanner. This is my go-to anytime I want a little extra color and glow, especially before an event or when I’m just not feeling great about myself and want a confidence boost. I usually put it on the day before, and it develops beautifully without getting all over my sheets. What I love most is that it does not have that awful self-tanner smell, it goes on smooth and even, and it never leaves me looking orange. The color looks natural, healthy, and flattering every time. I always keep a bottle in my bathroom because I never want to run out. My daughters love it too, especially for homecoming or before special events. I’ll put it on their legs or arms just to give them a little extra color so we’re not looking pale, and it always turns out so pretty. I have used a lot of self tanners over the years, and this is hands-down the best one I’ve ever tried. Five stars from me. Love, love, love it!

I really like the St. Tropez self tanner overall—it gives a beautiful, natural-looking tan that isn’t orange or streaky. The application is smooth, it dries fairly quickly, and the scent is mild compared to other tanners I’ve tried. It gives me an even glow that looks like I just got back from vacation. The only downside (and why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5) is that the color doesn’t last as long as I’d like. After a few days, it starts to fade pretty noticeably, even with moisturizing. I find myself needing to reapply more often than expected to keep the color up. Still, it’s a solid self tanner and one of the better ones on the market. Just be prepared to refresh your tan more frequently if you want to keep it looking flawless.

I miss the warmth and relaxation of tanning but stay away because too many people I know have had skin cancer. I found this a couple years ago and use it often. It definitely needs to be applied with a mitt so it’s even and not streaky. It’s kind of spendy but I justify it by knowing I’d be spending way more on tans. The down side is that if u swim or sit poolside and have your legs in water for some time, it will rinse off and then you have an obvious “before and after” line. It works really well though to give your body a nice warm glow.

I recently tried the St. Tropez Self Tan Express Mousse, and I’m genuinely impressed. The mousse goes on incredibly smooth—more like a light massage oil than a self-tanner. It has a soft, almost refreshing texture that left my skin feeling fresh and hydrated, not sticky or greasy. The scent was pleasantly light, nothing overpowering like some other tanning products. For my first test, I left it on for just 20 minutes before rinsing, and even with that short absorption time, the tan developed into a light but noticeable glow. It looked natural and even, with no streaks or blotches. I used only a small amount, and the result lasted a solid 9+ hours without fading or turning orange. For such minimal time and product used, it delivered a surprisingly professional-looking result. For the face, I paired it with the St. Tropez SunLit Skin Serum. A quick heads-up: this serum needs to be shaken really well (at least 30 seconds) before applying. It's runny and thin, so I recommend using a makeup sponge to dab and blend it quickly and evenly. It sets fast and darkens as it dries, so working quickly helps avoid uneven spots. No rinsing required for the face serum, which is a huge plus if you're on the go. Overall, this combo is perfect for achieving a natural-looking tan with minimal time investment. I’ll definitely keep using it—especially on busy days when I want a fresh look without the hassle.
