This is hands down the best self-tanner I have tried! The express formula is a game-changer—it only takes about 2 hours for the color to develop into a beautiful, even tan. I love that I can control the depth of the color depending on how long I leave it on. The application is smooth and streak-free, and the mousse blends easily with a mitt. I love this self-tanning lotion! I am on my fifth bottle now. I love that it's tinted so I can see where it's going and I can see if I've left any streaks on myself. I also love the fact that it doesn't stink as badly as other tanning lotions. I've read a lot of reviews that say it doesn't stink at all but I don't think that's very honest. It doesn't stink at all when you first put it on and I can't even start to notice the smell until about 6 hours later. But several hours after you've put it on, once the tan has developed, then you can definitely smell it but like I mentioned before, it's just not as strong as a smell as other self-tainers I've tried. Also this brand tends to stay dark on my skin for longer than other brands. This one normally lasts me 4 days before I feel the need to reapply so I use twice per week. It's also the only brand I've tried that actually looks like a natural tan once the color has developed. I have very fair skin naturally so this stuff give me a major confidence boost. I just feel like my skin looks so much prettier with my fake tan on.

I bought this to use for a wedding that I was in. I had never self-tanned before and I was nervous about looking too orange or patchy! This tan was super easy to use! I tried a few different ways to apply. I bought a tanning mitt and tried it that way. My favorite method is to use disposable rubber gloves and rub the tan into my skin. When I do it this way I lose less product because it doesn't get stuck in the tanning mitt and I feel like I have control over where the tan goes. The tan spreads out really nicely and soaks into skin quickly. After 15 minutes I was able to put loose fitting clothes on and go about my day. I like that this is an express self tan, so you don't have to sleep in it or leave it on all day. The longest I left it on was 3 hours. Remember to exfoliate your skin beforehand and make sure your skin is moisturized, but don't put lotion on right before. This will cause the tan not to soak in. As a first time self tanner, this product worked great! I didn't have trouble with patchiness or weird lines and I think it gave me a natural looking tan. It also works with different skin tones. I have different friends in the bridal party all use this tan and they all looked natural! I know the picture may not look like a super tan person, but trust me, I was sooo pale at the time! This self tanner gave me a little color to contrast with the light color dress.

This is my favorite self tanner. It’s easy to apply and gives a really natural dark color. It does have a slight smell but not terrible. It will also rub off on clothing but washes out easily in my experience.

This stuff is amazing. I had got a professional spray tan before vacation and it was blotchy and orange. I wanted to find something to help cover that but also give me a natural glow for the rest of vaca. I read reviews for this product and seldom leave a review with a picture but feel this product deserves more than just 5 stars! Applied with a tanning mit and left on for 1.5hrs, I am usually pretty pale with sensitive skin so I didn’t want to push it. I’m more than happy with the results. The tan is mostly even, natural looking, and subtle. I showered and exfoliated before applying, cooled my skin to help close my pores then waited about 20 minutes before applying. Washed off with just luke warm water and have been watching it continue to develop throughout the day. So worth the $$!

I recently tried the St. Tropez Self Tan Express Mousse, and I’m genuinely impressed. The mousse goes on incredibly smooth—more like a light massage oil than a self-tanner. It has a soft, almost refreshing texture that left my skin feeling fresh and hydrated, not sticky or greasy. The scent was pleasantly light, nothing overpowering like some other tanning products. For my first test, I left it on for just 20 minutes before rinsing, and even with that short absorption time, the tan developed into a light but noticeable glow. It looked natural and even, with no streaks or blotches. I used only a small amount, and the result lasted a solid 9+ hours without fading or turning orange. For such minimal time and product used, it delivered a surprisingly professional-looking result. For the face, I paired it with the St. Tropez SunLit Skin Serum. A quick heads-up: this serum needs to be shaken really well (at least 30 seconds) before applying. It's runny and thin, so I recommend using a makeup sponge to dab and blend it quickly and evenly. It sets fast and darkens as it dries, so working quickly helps avoid uneven spots. No rinsing required for the face serum, which is a huge plus if you're on the go. Overall, this combo is perfect for achieving a natural-looking tan with minimal time investment. I’ll definitely keep using it—especially on busy days when I want a fresh look without the hassle.
