One time I bought this version because the other one was out of stock, and since then, this has become his favorite. I think he really loves the little filled cubes. When I mix it with his old food, he actually picks this one out and leaves the other behind. I've been feeding my Oliver IAMS since he started on solid food. He was bottle fed and I worried about him getting the proper nutrition. Now,a year later, he's HUGE, healthy and his fur shines! My older cat enjoys IAMS as well. I really enjoy seeing them happy and the value for $ is terrific. I just wish IAMS made treats as well ... show more

Winnie loves it! Her coat’s gorgeous shiny & black. She’s in great shape considering she’s indoor ONLY! I have been using this brand for years. She’s had very few hairballs and I’m attributing it to the quality of her food. Blue Buffalo treats are another thing she loves.

This is good cat food, however, my cat’s prefer the chicken and beef flavored, which has been out of stock for quite some time. Hopefully the Iams Chicken flavored food in the larger bags will be back in stock soon.

My cat only eats this as dry food and he has never had a problem with wet poop or super dry poop. He does get two cans of wet food a day - one in the morning and one at night - this is offered all the time and he usually eats it only at night before bed. That being said - he still LOVES this food. I have been feeding it to him for about the last three years and we have never had any problems. He really loves the pieces that look like treats. I have 2 cats and they’re a little chubby so I tried the lower calorie higher protein content and I’m pleased that they both like it and gravitate toward that instead of the other product I was buying. So, I’m grateful they chose lower calorie more healthier food. 😻
