    • Love the product, shipping is disgraceful
Style: 6'6" Medium-light/Fast 1 Pc.
I love St Croix rods but will never buy from this seller again. First order never showed up and once the tracking information started to say they basically didn’t know where the rod was or when I was going to get I cancelled the order and reordered it. This time it arrived not even in a box. The rod was left at my door in a plastic sleeve, no box. I’m still in shock they would think this is an acceptable way to ship a fishing a fishing pole. No surprise it was damaged with two of the guides being bent. I am very disappointed with this and like I said will never buy from this seller again. St Croix rods are amazing but do yourself a favor and buy them from someone else. If I could zero stars I would ... show more

    • poor packaging
Style: 6'6" Medium-light/Fast 1 Pc.
The fishing rod itself is decent, but there was no proper packaging—just a simple plastic bag. This left it completely unprotected during shipping, making it more likely to get damaged. Better packaging is definitely needed.

    • Tipped snapped after only a few months of minimal use

Update - as of 9/20, dropping to 1 star. I filed a service / warranty claim on 9/4. They need 14-17 business days to respond. Thats just not right. Still awaiting any form of communication. This will be my last St. Croix pole. Unacceptable way to do business. It’s a nice pole, great feel to it, great weight. The tip snapped off only a few months after buying this and with pretty minimal use. And the scenario wasn’t even unique or it was huge fish, it was in hooked onto one of the guides on way down to the lake, not even tight…. My cheap poles have lasted so much longer (10+ years!). Rather disappointing. ... show more

    • Great product. Very very poor shipping.
Style: 6'6" Medium-light/Fast 1 Pc.
Love my St. Croix rods but this was shipped in a plastic bag. No tube, no packaging, no support. So obviously it arrived with a broken tip and smashed eyes. It almost feels like a shipper insurance scam. Seeing as they are the same price everywhere, I would buy at a retail location and save yourself some grief. ... show more
