“Very disappointed with the quality and shipping. The fishing rod arrived damaged right out of the box. The cork handle has visible cracks and defects, which is unacceptable for a brand-new rod. Packaging clearly did not protect the product properly. For the price paid, I expected much better quality control. I bought it because the legend Elite Salmon steelhead 2 oz is no longer available, and so far so good. No regrets. Very light . I bought it after purchasing the UglyStick (similar test). It's like night and day - so much lighter and more responsive.

Nice rod but ship it in a damn box not in a thin plastic. This is a 10'6 fragile rod and came in a plastic bag? Shipper obviously needs to take better care in shipping products.
