Replaced an echo gt-225 strimmer carb. It is slightly larger/thicker gaskets so needs the longer bolts supplied (old bolts were a couple of mm shorter and would not bite). The plastic air filter cover is NOT marked "cold start/run"...so used the old one. Everything went smooth...30 mins to replace old carb including installation of the new fuel tank pipes ( tricky to get the grommet into the hole). Everything went well...and the motor started first pull. Great kit.

My Echo SRM 225 was about ten years old , leaked gas and had a broken lever. The replacement of the carburator and all other parts was very easy, took 5-10 minutes, all parts were there and the unit cranked up immediately.

String trimmer no work. Buy Kit. Spend an hour installing components from kit. String trimmer now works. Feel invincible. Consider opening small engine repair side hustle. Get talked out of it by your significant other. Spend the rest of your days using your repaired string trimmer wondering what your life would have been like if you had chased your dreams. Better to have repaired and lost than never to have repaired at all.
